They never get my sandwiches right. Today is petty but idc. We don't typically have knives in my office. They didn't cut either sandwich in half so now I had to have a coworker get me a knife from karns. I've let it slide a couple of times but the last two times I think I asked for store credit or for them to completely redeliver my sandwich. Today a man claiming to be the owner was rude to me. So not only am I never going to order from this location again, I'm going to do my hardest to make sure my office mates don't either. There are other sandwich places that deliver for far less than $2 per sub.
We work half a mile away. Apparently because of gas prices, the owner feels like in order to pay his employees more, he's going to charge customers $2 per sub, even if they're going to the same place. Now. He did explain that this tops out at five bucks. But at that point, we'd still be paying five bucks for them to bring the sandwiches. Half a mile. FDR said that any business that cannot pay its employees a living wage does not deserve to be in business. I guess the owner of this store missed that when he decided that instead of paying himself less he was going to charge his customers more.
Which I feel is excessive for a sandwich shop that never gets our orders right. And has sent out to me sandwiches with burned and stale bread. Sandwiches that had ingredients. I specifically ask them not to put on there, like I believe it was last Friday. I spent 10 minutes peeling iceberg lettuce off of my sandwich. And a lot of times they miss things like my poor coworker who's received no less than three subs with one of the ingredients missing. Now we're pretty easy going people so most of the time I was just calling the store to let them know hey do better.
The owner was incredibly rude and unhelpful. And I hope he has the life...
Read moreI live directly across from a neighborhood this Jimmy John's delivers to. For the last year or however long they have been in this location, I've tried to get delivery in my neighborhood, which is RIGHT ACROSS THE STREET, but I keep getting the answer "oh we have to wait a year till we expand." It has been a year....I live less than 5 minutes from this Jimmy John's and can't get delivery. "oh we have delivery so fast you cant even get the word fast in before it arrives at your door" yeah because you deliver to people 2 seconds away from you. Jimmy John's at psu was fast and worth it. This one has one punk teen kid who likes to make cheeky comments in front of his female associates, who knows if he spits in my food? Watch yourself kid that counter isnt hard for me to get over, I'm clearly older and somehow bigger than you. R.I.P to what Jimmy John's has tried to be in...
Read moreI called in to place an order at this jimmy johns which is 1.8 miles away from my house. They told me they do the neighborhood across the street but not the other neighborhood on the other side of the street behind the school.. person on the phone didn’t even suggest that I could meet them at the beginning of my neighborhood or anything, didn’t try to solve a 30 second driving problem... Really confused as to how it’s less than a 2 mile drive which seems to be within their radius but they couldn’t deliver to me or meet me at the beginning of my neighborhood or something? Wanted to encourage anyone reading this to try Jersey Mikes Subs down the pike, way better service, and they deliver to my house using uber eats, people who don’t mind driving an extra 30 seconds to drop off a tuna sub. Thank you!! Have a...
