This location has to be the worst wholesale store I have ever shopped at. This was my first time at the location and not only did I notice that NONE of the prices were competitive compared to other wholesale stores but almost EVERYTHING food wise I purchased was either covered with mold or spoiled. I have already returned the bad ground beef which looked good in the pack but was completely brown in the middle when I went to individually package it. Also I just went to grab an orange to eat and it is completely covered with mold. This stores general manager really needs to take a look at their processes because this seems to be a management issue. There’s no way the employees are getting away with leaving meat out too long or putting molded food on the shelf with proper oversight. My sister warned me about this place I guess I had to see it for myself.

You'd think that you had to pay for a membership to shop at a store, they'd give a damn about the people that work and shop there. The place is consistently understaffed, they would rather use robots than pay real people. The air pump at the gas station has been broken for months. They rarely run carts back in, making the parking lot dangerous, but this is all the fault of the store management. Sunday morning, before church folks get out and just after the store opens, carts are overflowing in EVERY cart corral. As seen in my pic. Maybe if they employed enough people and paid them a fair wage, and cared just a little bit, they wouldn't have these issues. Save your money, it's probably worth it to go to Costco instead.

Today was the WORST experience I have had in any wholesale club. The customer in this picture deliberately stops in front of me as I was walking into the store, and wanted to argue over a parking spot. He called me “racist and privileged,” smh. The door greeter not doing anything during the situation, but looking decides to call a manager after the customer and I go two different directions. I asked Chris, the manager, one simple question that only needed a yes or no answer, not “do what you want to do”, and “I just want to argue with everyone”. I wanted to make sure I didn’t need to stick around for a statement or something. The door greeter in this situation needs to do better as well as Chris.

Updated again* July 2024 We were supposed to receive a refund for our membership in June, it's now approaching August and we are still going around in circles with customer service from BJ's membership. They sent our refund to a wrong account if they even sent it at all. Going back and forth through email through multiple customer service representatives only to be told each and every time that it will take 3 to 5 business days for them to investigate within their department where the money was deposited. I most likely don't know you if you're reading this but please take my word and save yourself the headache. Do not, I repeat do not get a membership through BJ's. Sam's club and Costco are two excellent options. This place is a joke. Any bets on whether or not we will get our money back? It's probably a coin flip at this point.

Update- June 2024 We cancelled our membership. We have experienced time and time again receiving moldy food, expired food or food that was set to expire the next day. We stopped buying fruits and vegetables months ago because $50 every other week was going into the trash with each pickup. This month we ordered 2 boxes of pastries for our daughters birthday. We picked up and one of the boxes expired the next day and already had mold on the pastries. Do NOT shop here. Costco is a much better option.

Run! Run as fast as you can away from this location and from BJ'S in general. You will have much better luck with Costco or even sam's club for that matter. 3 times now we have been given expired products for our pickup order. Management is horrible, they never reach out to fix issues with expired products and customer service issues. Still waiting to hear back from issues I called about 2+ weeks ago, on hold currently with customer service and getting the run around. Do not waste your time, go somewhere else. Take my word for it, you will absolutely regret getting a...

I ordered this Philips 4K TV for my brother in law on Black Friday 2018 but did not receive it until the middle of December. There was a miscommunication with my brother in law so the driver, not understanding him, took the TV back to Richmond where it sat for weeks. I called BJ's, the carrier and NO ONE would help me get the TV delivered. No one would even tell me where it was! BJ's REFUSED to contact CEVA Logistics to get the TV delivered. I had to spend countless hours on the phone with the carrier and boy their hold times are measured in hours not minutes!! Finally CEVA Logistics gave me the number for Richmond (why couldn't this be done sooner?) and I was able to arrange delivery for late that week. After all this time my brother in law decided he did not want the TV and bought one from Walmart. I was stuck with the TV and decided I would keep it instead of returning it. I set it up and it worked for less than 15 minutes!!! I turned it on and after 10-15 minutes the picture began to fade from vibrant 4K to a dull unwatchable picture and would flicker from bright to dull. In the end I had to re-pack it and bring it to my local BJ's. In the short time I had it I did like the apps and the availability. But, navigating the TV was cumbersome. Nothing easy or intuitive. It was a pain to use, but had it worked I would have kept it. All in all a VERY nerve wracking experience with BJ's and their terrible customer service people. Delivery was a nightmare and even though I will NEVER order anything from BJ's online again: IF I were to I'd have the items shipped to the store because home delivery is not something you want...

I love this place ! Not only have I saved $2,000 since starting to do all My grocery shopping there (given the 5% cash back due to my membership and credit card AND the amazing discounts), but I love how the customer service is always top notch ! Feels like family. For example - Last halloweeen I had A last-minute costume issue for my three boys for Halloween and I called in to see what Halloween costumes they had available and one of the ladies asked me what my children sizes were (!) and she actually went out on the floor and took an inventory of all types of superhero costumes! As if that wasn’t enough she also held some of them for me until my kids could come see them later that afternoon!Wow ! Would never get that kind of treatment at Walmart . My grandmother loved her BJS in Fairfax and was a member there for 30+ years, now I am carrying on the legacy. Please stay true to your...
