McDonald's — Restaurant in Heath

Being a former employee if this particular place I have a perspective that I think needs to be known. First off, the place is disgusting. The frapee machine is only fully cleaned once a week and us a popular spit for bug nests. They actually failed their last inspection because if the bugs found in that machine. The oil in the friers are only changed once a week if not more. The only reason that poeple aren't getting food poisoning from the fries is because its a 24 hour drive thru and the friers are left on. The grill is typically coated in grease and when its cleaned around 8 o'clock at night, the employees usually don't have the proper equipment to do so. The gloves that are supposed to be there were pitched and for a while the cleaners had no hand protection. The drive thru is always extremely slow because there is always a lack of communication and depending on who's there, they may just not care and inside is bit much better. I would also like to point out that the Mortarellos have really expensive cars such as porches while the minimum wage workers can only get $3 worth of food while on break. The employees usually don't last long because we are worked to the point of exhaustion and treated worse than dogs because the managers know we can be replaced and might I add that a certain manager stole over 7 thousand dollars from the store. McDonald's likes to say that they are devoted to being the best first job for teenagers, no. They're great for teaching young teens that they're worthless in this world. The food was great for being fast food. The staff wasn't good at all. We walked in and waited and we didn't have a problem waiting since it was around dinner time and we weren't in a rush. When it was our turn to order the cashier took out her phone and proceeded to look at it when we stood at the register waiting. She took our order and kept asking us to repeat what we ordered. We didn't have a problem but found it odd since it wasn't loud at all in the place. We sat down and the place was fairly clean. We waited for a few minutes while they made our food and the lady who took our order brought our food up to us. We sat and ate but it was quite loud because of the staff. The staff was standing up at the registers talking amongst themselves ignoring the older gentleman waiting for his food. They used some strong profanity in front of the customers who were all middle aged people with kids and older people and the gentlemen waiting for his food who they ignored even after he tried to ask how much longer on his food. An older couple sat down behind us waiting for their food as they wanted to eat there and they called her number so she went and got her food. She said it was for there because she wanted to eat at the table she was sitting at and made her carry her food back to her table. A few employees came in off shift and were yelling how they didn't want to work the hours scheduled and was being loud for the people in the back of the place who were eating to shake their heads.
