Beto's Mexican Food — Restaurant in Heber

Clear your calendar. You and the porcelain throne will become very intimate friends for the next few days. Double that time if you get the spicy guac. Make sure you have some soft two ply, you'll need it. Why do we punish ourselves with these soft Mexican cylinders? I blame the copious amount of cultured milk protein. I once heard that someone had received a whole cylinder filled with the delicious protein, but brushed this claim aside as mere urban legend. Betos does not hold back on this heavenly bovine secretion like so many other restaurants. Perhaps these other restaurants consider the gastric complications that result from consuming so much of this yellow ambrosia. While the lactic bomb is an issue, it is nothing compared to the mashed refried legumes that make up the majority of these hispanic receptacles. Do not be fooled, it has never been "fried" and certainly not twice. Once swallowed the creamy substance immediately triples in size, turning its host into a walking zeppelin. Not unlike the Hindenburg, this will end in tragedy not just for the patron but for everyone within the near vicinity. Perhaps I will never understand the allure to these delectable ethnic tubes. Forever drawn like a sailor to the song of a siren, doomed to crash into the rocky methane...

We are very disappointed with Beto's in Heber. My husband and I were traveling in a big truck and were really wanting to eat at Beto's, on Sept. 22nd. We made a special point to come to this certain location on our route. Once we pulled up on the main road and parked out front, we went up to the doors to place our order. We made sure to have our masks on. The doors were locked, no phone number to call to place an order. We were able to get one of the employees that worked at the window, having a headset on, to notice us after knocking on the window. She would look at us a couple of times and not give us another look or care.after multiple knocks, she then tried to tell us to go around to drive thru. I tried to tell her we couldn't drive around but asked for a phone number to call to place order. She then told us again to go around to the drive thru. We walked over there and there was no way to place our order. She wouldn't come to window or door to even help us. We are in an18 wheeler truck-Can't pull up via drive thru. No other employee would give us the time of day. We were so frustrated! We will never be returning to...

Bad story time: I normally don’t review places often but this was worthy of one. My husband and I went through the drive through and got the Carne Asada with fries burrito to share (one we have gotten multiple times in a different town). We were super excited to eat it and we pulled it out of the bag and ate all of it besides a few last bites. When my husband was eating the last few bites I looked back in the bag and in the bottom corner was a BUG! I think it was an earwig. I tried to take a picture of it but when I looked back in the bag it was GONE! I pulled out the rest of the napkins in there and saw it running around! IT WAS ALIVE!!! Gross!!! Made us gag. Never coming to this Betos again! They also barely put guac and sour cream in the burrito. Only saw two tiny spots in burrito for each. Not CLOSE to enough. My husband also had very chewy fatty pieces. Felt like we wanted to puke for a long time after this...
