My overall grade for Dutch Bros Coffee - Heber City is: A-
We will be moving to Heber City next year and are very excited to see all the new businesses opening up in our soon-to-be hometown. We tried to go to yesterday's grand opening, but the lines were huge - so I went there this morning about 7:00 AM.
Overall, a very positive experience. There are double-lines so that a large number of customers can be accommodated. That said, I didn't see the typical speakers at the drive-thru lane menu locations. Instead there were actually a couple of folks outside taking orders and payment - much like people might see at places like Chick-fil-A or Portillo's which always have tons of folks in their drive-thru lines. God bless those folks standing out there taking orders and payments and being so friendly and positive.
My usual morning order at the usual Seattle-based coffee shop with the green logo is: a Grande Soy Latte with an extra shot. Unfortunately, when I asked the nice person taking my order: "Do you have soy milk?", the answer was Nope. Hmm - maybe they'll carry it later. They said that they have almost every other type of milk. Just a little bit strange that a coffee shop would not carry soy milk. But hey - whatever. I ordered 2 regular lattes.
Coffee flavor - which is the most important is very good. The temperature of the coffee was just right and again, all of the people working in that crowded little building were very friendly.
Also, the cost of the coffee versus the big green logo coffee place was cheaper - another win.
All in all - I'd absolutely recommend that the locals of Heber City head over to enjoy a great cup of coffee rom Dutch Bros Coffee. We will be back - and hopefully, they may have soy milk...
Read moreI am not angry or upset as I write this review, it is just a matter of fact review that the owners need to hear. We were there a couple days ago, and went through the drive-thru. The employees were exceptionally nice, so there was no problem with that. However I ordered a white chocolate mocha and it tasted horrible. Literally the worst coffee drink I've ever had. I almost wonder if they forgot to put something in it. Oh well, it happens. However, this last thing is unacceptable and is the reason I most likely will never be back. When scanning my card, the drive-thru girl had the business iPad that is used by employees to run credit cards. I scanned my card, and then the ridiculous tip screen came up. Instead of handing me the iPad so I can finish the transaction, the sweet little girl asked me which number I would like to push and that "she would push it for me." I was mortified! How the hell is someone supposed to say zero dollars, when she's the one that's going to be pushing the button for the customer! Well, anyway, she was the delightful employee, and was Far sweeter than my coffee, but that should never happen to anyone else again. It won't happen to me again, because I do not think I'll...
Read moreAbsolutely love Dutch Bros. I have always liked the idea of going and getting a coffee in the morning, or just having a little shop that you call your own. The green coffee shop, the orange donut place, I’ve tried a lot of them. The best thing about Dutch is their service and their desire to be the best. Their business model is set up as such, so that you feel a part of the transaction, and you are part of this “experience”. You aren’t just a number they are trying to get through.
They always seem to be having an awesome time while they are there, and that’s even better. I went today and Gabby, Alivia & Danielle all crushed it.
Call me out if you want, but last time I remembered, you can say no to the tip button. You don’t have to come on google and leave a 1 star review telling the entire world you won’t be back. You learned “yes” and “no” at a very young age I’m certain.
Thanks Dutch!! My Drink: Nitro Carmelizer cold...
