Cold Stone Creamery — Restaurant in Henderson

Tonight we went to this store and had an awful experience. Our 3 love its we ordered were inconsistent and made by the same boy. But the worst part was the blueberry banana smoothie we ordered. The boy struggled to make it and asked another worker how he should get ice because they didn't have any nor did they have any water to make ice. (Health code violation to not have water in a food establishment!) The worker told the boy making the smoothie to add more fruit to cancel out not having ice. So he added more bananas that were room temp on the counter and blueberries also at room temp on the counter. I'm not a rocket scientist but warm, room temp fruit doesn't replace ice. So the smoothie was warm and super liquidy. It was absolutely disgusting! We went back to ask for ice and the worker told us that they had none and he couldn't do anything about it unless we wanted him to put it in their fridge for a few minutes. Ummm no! You should have told me that you had no ice and I would have picked a different item, not a warm smoothie. After being dismissed by that worker who made it, we approached the worker that seemed to be acting like the shift leader or manager and she apologized and offered a refund. Beyond frustrating and disgusted and disappointing with the lack of communication, no ice and no water according to them. Do not waste your time going here. I hope management deals...

We usually love Cold Stone, and find this location and the entire staff helpful and friendly. I have been ordering via delivery for the past month, or so; weird cravings following a long time of not eating having Covid. We were disappointed with our most recent order. First, I want to thank the very nice lady I spoke with on the phone before placing the order. She explained that if I ordered directly from their website, I could add extra waffle cones and cups. I was unable to do that via Uber Eats. So, I did just that this time. They cones arrived just fine. The waffle cup looked burned. I thought it would be okay, but it actually tasted burned as well. I could overlook that, but the quart that we ordered was disappointing. It was only sweet cream ice cream with chocolate chip mix in. There were not many chocolates chips mixed it at all. When we order a Like It, Love It, Gotta Have It, or even the next size, it's usually packed with chips! From now on, we will only order the smaller sizes. We also ordered a Like It size sweet cream with cookie dough (I made an error and forgot to mark that we also wanted chocolate chips). There were no decent sized pieces of cookie dough at all. I hate to give such a low rating because their ice cream is amazing. However, out of the last 6 times I've been there, only one of them I would consider to be a good experience. My most recent experience was the worst and is what prompted this review. I brought in a coupon for a buy one get one free like it, love it, or gotta have it. I asked for a gotta have it cake batter ice cream with Reece's cups and brownies. The girl who helped me couldn't remember my order so literally asked me to repeat it three times! Then when I order the second item she asked me what size. It was BOGO free so obviously the same size as the previous order. Then when she brought me up front I noticed what I ordered didn't have nearly as much as the other one I got did even though they were the same size. Usually when they don't get the amount right they fill the rest up with ice cream. Of course that didn't happen. When I got in the car I snapped some pictures before I started eating it omw home. As I was eating I noticed that apparently she forgot the brownies, despite me telling her four times!!! I literally think she was high. I smoke so I knew what was up. I will continue to come here for the ice cream, but am very VERY disappointed about the service I've gotten the last 5...
