Rivas Mexican Grill #4 — Restaurant in Henderson

Never am I compelled to share bad experiences, but this one had me pretty shook. Tried to call ahead to place an order so that it would be ready when I arrived. First time someone answered, they never said anything, or answered my "hellos", before hanging up on me. 2nd attempt I was hung up on immediately. 3rd attempt finally got through, but I was put on hold and treated to the dulcet tones of the cashier taking orders from other customers. 2 minutes go by and at this point I'm now in the parking lot so I hang up. Order my food inside, 2 carnitas tacos MEAT & CHEESE ONLY and plain fries (because I have the pallet of a child don't judge me). The cashier REPEATS it back to me. I get my bad and she asks if I want ketchup, and I decline. She proceeds to grab a fist full of ketchup packets and I say no ketchup once again. I get to my truck and open up my container and met with a taco filled to the brim with pico and no cheese whatsoever. I go back inside, understandably annoyed, and the cashier asks what's wrong. I tell her it has everything on it and she tells me I NEVER SPECIFIED WHAT I WANTED OR DIDNT WANT ON MY TACOS. She literally repeated my customization to me not 10 minutes earlier! I remind her that I did and repeat meat and cheese only. She takes the tacos to the kitchen, then reappears moments later. "BEANS and what?" Lemme ask you a question: do you have Momentos disease? That was the end of my nightmare as I finally get my tacos the right way, but man, this was certainly an experience. Can't, in good conscious, come back to this location if this is...

By far the worst I’ve ever had. You ever ate a dry season less burnt crunchy tacos? You ever unseasoned Mexican food? My steak was over cooked, Unseasoned, extra rubber hold the juice please! My tortilla was undercooked and soggy tasted as if sat on the side grill keeping lukewarm from the meat drained juices. My extra crunchy overcooked tacos tasted burnt and again under season I don’t even think the had salt and pepper on them. Chicken way dry like eating Double bubble after the flavor as ran out and you’ve tucked it being your ear for awhile. Topped with a beautiful place ounce salsa and non melting cheese. Like seriously how is it even possible. You do not get what you pay for infect you get mediocre customer service, now what I say that I mean I watch as they not once washed hand after handling cash and or customers. Triple checking someone’s order walking it to the back for whatever reason making sure their ponytail looks good just to walk back to the front with you good yet never no once stopping to clean and or sanitize their hands. To watch the chef take out garbage and again go back to the kitchen not once stopping to wash his hands. I’m thankful my food was done cooking before as I watched in amazement. I would give this place a big fat 0 if I could. Their customer service is horrible, and as a small business owner myself, I pride myself on great customer service. I ordered from this place on a food delivery website. The order format was changed without me noticing, so when I order I accidentally ordered Asada fries instead of Nachos. I noticed this on the app within 10min. I called the restaurant to ask if they could fix my order, or at least give me chips so I could fix it myself. The woman was extremely rude, and told me the food was already done (even though the app said it was still 40 minutes away), told me it was my problem and that if they changed it they would have to “Throw it away” and they would "lose money." Although I understand her concern, I am a loyal customer to this restaurant. Or WAS! Not only did my family and I eat here on a weekly basis, I have referred people to this very place because I loved their food and on top of that, I always tipped them extremely generously every time I have gone here. But no matter what, the way I was treated over the phone by this establishment is extremely disappointing. And I will assure that none of my friends or family go to this place any longer. Sad that they were willing to lose such a loyal customer over a few dollars. I refuse to support businesses that are ungrateful and could care less about...
