On today around 7:40 AM I visited the Indian Lake location located in Hendersonville, TN.. I ordered in the drive thru and asked for a Cajun chicken biscuit combo and a smothered steak biscuit. While driving away from the location I bit into my steak biscuit and a long piece of gray hair was hanging out of the gravy and the chicken that I had bitten from. I immediately turned my car around and went back to the drive through and asked to speak with a manager. The General Manager that did not have a name tag on and refused to provide me his name came out with an aggressive body language and a loud offensive tone towards me.
I politely explained to him that it was hair in my biscuit and I showed him the hair and he loudly said to me in front of my 10 year old son that I “Always” have a problem with their food. I then told him that wasn’t true and I wanted to show him the hair in my biscuit. The general manager clearly saw the long string of hair imbedded into the biscuit and said that he only saw a biscuit as if he was mocking me or something. This General manager tried to argue with me in a loud and aggressive tone instead of rectifying the issue. I asked for a refund; yet, the manager stormed off from my vehicle stating that he will get me another biscuit and waved his hand at me. While waiting outside of the restaurant I then called Bojangles customer service and a representative told me that the Indian Lake location was franchised and they could not generate a report or contact the owner due to it being privately owned. I sat outside of the restaurant for another 7 minutes waiting for my refund.
The General Manager sent a store lead outside to my vehicle with a replaced biscuit and I refused to take it and I showed her the biscuit that also had hair in it and she said that it was “unacceptable”. I then drove back around to the drive through to get a resolve and I asked to speak with the General Manager again; but, this time I asked for my refund and the information to the franchise owner. The General manager refused to give me any information of the franchise owner. The General Manager continued to scream at me while in the drive through because I asked for my refund. My entire purchase was around $14.78 and he only gave me $7.00 in cash and laughed in my face and told me to have a “good day”. This type of behavior is unacceptable and should not be tolerated. I have encountered rude customer service from this same manager previously and he continues to be nasty, rude and unprofessional to the utmost. The reviews listed on the website for this location should tell you that we as customers are not satisfied with the quality of food and especially the poor customer service that is rendered at this location by the General Manager and staff.
No customer should patronize a restaurant and get treated poorly on every visit. Hair in the biscuit is unacceptable; but, refusing to take accountability and scream at customers is more unacceptable. This General Manager should be fired immediately and encouraged to seek some form of counseling or therapy because something is definitely mentally off with this guy. He should not be working at anyone establishment with that aggressive and...
Read moreIt doesn't matter night or day, the Chicken and biscuits and everything are fresh and amazing. Never have we gotten a bad anything or messed up anything and when ordering for 8 people, most places do leave out stuff or mess up someone's meal. Not purposely, but never has it happened here. Rather eatting in, drive thru or delivery, it's always as it should be. All the staff have always been super friendly and Doug the manager has always been super friendly and kind. Thanks for being one of the few great places local who treat the customers right and the food is always great! One of my favorite things to do is to add some potatoes and gravy to the rice, Yummm...lol Also their bo rounds are delicious! I like ketchup on them. They have the best biscuits around. Their Macaroni and cheese is really good too. My kids love the fries and strips. I love their regular chicken it always taste so fresh and *clean... weird word to use, I guess the word clean I mean it isn't heavy and greasy/Oily tasting like a few other places. It's just reminds me of farm fresh chicken that was made that day fresh. Their boo berry biscuits are so good, it's their amazing biscuit with blueberries cooked into them and icing drizzled on them. You can order extra icing or no icing. But that icing with the biscuit with the salt in the dough make a great pairing. You just can't go wrong. I hope we always have Yall here for many more...
Read moreToday at 4:48p went through drive thru to place an order. While placing my order the individual was rushing me and correcting how I placed my order. When I asked for the sweet potato turnover, he said it's a pie. (very rudely) The person at the drive thru was especially rude and annoyed when I ordered two combos. As if he had never rang up two orders together on one ticket. When we got to the window the individual was even more rude and reckless with his words. I believe he was the manager. He had on a black shirt, white hair, white mustache and beard. Also a busted lip. He seemed very jittery, eyes very wide as if he was on something. As we were paying for our food, he held on to it for dear life as if we were going to take it and run. I've never felt so disrespected. The customer service was horrible. If this was a manager they need to go to customer service training. The whole experience made me feel very under valued as a customer. Someone like this should not be allowed to work for the company, until they get...
