While in Hendersonville we happen to drive by and noticed that there was a new ice cream shop, it’s called “Celtic Creamery” and we decided to stop and experience the ice cream. Much to our delight we are so glad we did. The ice cream is all homemade in house and it’s light and creamy and absolutely delicious, you can have it served in a cup or on a waffle or cake cone. A nice verity of flavor, you’ll have trouble deciding what you want to order. They do offer samples and they also make these little donuts with sugar and Cinnamon that you can also purchase a sauce to go with them. Now, let me warn you, there may be a wait 5-10 minutes but it’s totally worth it. The line moves quickly. It would be a shame to miss this delightful treat. The team works hard and they aim to please but they can only go as fast or slow as we the customers let them. When it’s your turn know what you want to try or order and place your order. There is indoor and outdoor seating. They also have a drive up window. You can either park in their lot or if there is an open spot on the street grab it. The Celtic Creamery is located just outside of downtown 227 7th Avenue. Oh and don’t forget to tip your server(s), they are working had...
Read moreThis is a wonderful little Ice Cream Shop Right in-between 7th Ave. and Main Street. The employees are always very kind, and the Ice cream served here is simply delicious. Its very creamy. I usually get some form of milkshake, which is reasonably priced, being $8 after taxes. The Milkshake always has the right consistency to it. My favorite flavors so far are 'Oh No' Cookie Dough and Cookies & Cream. The Mini Doughnuts here are incredibly yummy and are very reasonably priced. There is ample parking easily accessed by going down N. Grove Street from Bearcat Blvd. There is also a Drive-Thru. which can be easily accessed the same way. Its also very easy to walk to, which is what I did. There is a nice patio area to eat at the front of the restaurant, though this can be a bit noisy from the surrounding streets. Service is generally fast, though there can be a line at busy times. Still, this isn't abnormal for the industry. I'd say the best time to visit is roughly 2-4 PM when it's hottest outside and it's generally less busy. There is a small fee for Credit Cards, however, prices are low enough for it to be easily paid in cash and avoid the fee.

Read moreVery cute little ice cream/dessert spot in Hendo! They have a pretty large selection and lots of tasty combinations. The staff was friendly and served each customer fast and efficiently. We went on a Friday night, about an hour before they closed and they were still very busy. The parking lot is not the easiest to get to but it is do-able. They even have a drive thru and plenty of to-go pints of ice cream. They have a few extra toppings and syrups you can add, but it's not a crazy long list like some other ice cream shops. The outside seating area was nice and clean. They even had a large connect 4 outside that you could play. Dogs are welcomed and they have doggy ice cream too! Definitely a great place...
