Three Chopt Sandwich Shoppe — Restaurant in Hendersonville

On a Valentine’s Day trip, we stopped along our path at Three Chopt based on other’s comments and recommendations and we were very pleased to have made this choice. I had the Cincinnati chili three way and my spouse had a sandwich. The chili was meaty, served on regular spaghetti with cheddar cheese on top and oyster crackers on the side. Spicy with just a bit of hot bite, I was very pleased. The sandwich was filled with super fresh ingredients and the bread toasted perfectly. Portion size was large enough to eat half and save the rest of the sandwich for dinner or a snack. The chili was perfectly sized for a lunch portion to be completely consumed. We had the pleasure of speaking with the owner to swap baseball stories, too. On this day, it was only 39 days until opening day; go Reds. There was fresh popcorn to munch while waiting for our fresh hot dishes along with plenty of memorabilia to view in a dining area of 10-20 tables. Pepsi products via the fountain and coke by the bottle. I highly recommend lunch here. Also, parking in downtown Hendersonville can be a bit intimidating for travelers but remember that within a block of Main Street are public lots. Three Chopt is immediately adjacent to one. Update April 2020. Three Copt is still dishing out with a limited take out arrangement meaning no outdoor seating, just take out. They still seem to have their full menu of you favorite sandwiches and dishes you enjoy.

We visited tonight a little after closing. I was really craving one of their reubens and some soup. My husband was met at the door by one of the employees who was so kind and she told him to wait a second. She went in and discussed our order with the owner and they decided to make our food even though they had already cleaned up for the day Within ten minutes we had our food plus some lemonades for my kids which they absolutely loved and some ice cream sandwiches! Thank you so much three chopt for your kindness and for going above and beyond for your customers. My whole family enjoyed every bite of their food!
