I wanted to buy my wife Karen, a special wedding ring for our upcoming 47th anniversary. She had a custom ring made years ago but said the design seemed too bulky and the ring felt heavy and uncomfortable. Our initial idea was to incorporate her original diamonds and add new ones into a different setting. We went to see Greg and Lynn Pope at G.A. Pope Fine Jewelry in Hendersonville because we like to support family-owned local businesses. We also like the fact that Greg is an exceptional Certified Master Bench Jeweler with years of experience and G.A. Pope Fine Jewelry has a special, friendly, no-pressure down-to-earth feeling throughout their store. We showed Lynn the original ring and a photo of a setting Karen found on the Internet. Instead of trying to sell us something entirely new at a higher profit, Lynn suggested we let Greg redesign a custom setting that would enhance and build on the legacy of her original ring with a fresh, entirely new design. The result was simply stunning! Greg’s redesign far exceeded our expectations—not only was it exquisite, but my wife says her ring fits perfectly and is an absolute joy to wear. Best of all, when Karen saw her ring she said, “I just can’t take my eyes off of it!!! The light shines from the diamonds with a heavenly halo—far brighter than ever before!” I cannot thank Greg and Lynn Pope at G.A. Just moved to the area and needed to find a jeweler that I could trust with my diamond to have the band resized. I chose G.A. Pope for after reading all of the google reviews. Lynn was wonderful, she gave me a receipt with a picture of the ring that also included a description and measurements along with it's declared value and that they were going to resize it. She gave me a price for the service and told me that she expected it to take about a day. A day later, she called. The ring was perfectly sized and bright and shiny. I had also taken in a couple of other rings which they cleaned for free. My experience with Lynn and the jeweler's workmanship is excellent and I would recommend them. Their store is lovely and when I shop for fine jewelry I will be going back there...and go meet Rosie, the lovely and sweet Retriever. ...

Have known Greg and Lynn for a long time. They are great people! I had purchased a ring that Greg had designed several years ago and had been very pleased with the quality and the beauty of the piece. I had my Mother's diamond cluster ring and wanted to update it.
