We have shopped there many times and made purchases. There was a conversation couch that we liked and placed a custom order. We were told each time we made contact with the salesperson with whom we worked that she would call us about when ready, delivery etc. This person did not. For all but one time we had to call. She told us that the couch was ready after 6 weeks and they would pick up it up & let us know. No call! We tried getting it scheduled for delivery and another stalling & no call. Then she called and tells us what the balance is and I asked that she give me a delivery date and then I would pay the balance. A week later she called with the possibility of two days & we paid balance and she was to call with the exact day & time. On the first expected day we had to call her. She said that they were expecting another delivery item to make it worthwhile to come to Columbia and it had come in so no delivery. Later that day the delivery people called and said they had just gotten the sofa and it would be 2-3 weeks before it could be delivered and they never did have it on schedule or were expecting this supposed other shipment. So.....this clerk lied about the possible delivery , she has never called back again as she said she would. This has been a very frustrating and disappointing experience.. we will miss shopping there in the future.And.. My husband and I recently relocated to North Carolina and began our furniture search at High Country Furniture in Hendersonville after going under contract on a new home. We placed a significant order, excited to furnish our future space. Unfortunately, the home sale fell through unexpectedly, leaving us in a very difficult situation.

What could have been a stressful and costly ordeal was made so much easier thanks to the incredible team at High Country Furniture. They showed genuine compassion and flexibility—canceling furniture pieces that would only work in the original home and graciously storing the rest while we searched for a rental and, eventually, a new home.

Now, six months later, we're preparing to move into a new (and better!) house, and I can honestly say the team at High Country has supported me every step of the way—from the trauma of losing a home to the joy of finding a new one.

They are never pushy and offer honest, thoughtful guidance on design, quality, and value. Their main goal is customer happiness, not just making a sale, and it shows.

From the moment I first walked into High Country, I knew I was in the right place. I could smell all the real wood and leather furniture, and was surrounded with lovely rustic decor. I was on a "rustic" mission! I'd recently moved to Hendersonville, and donated all of my old bedroom furniture before that. So, since I was starting from scratch, the time was right to finally create my perfect rustic bedroom retreat. I was greeted in the store by the manager, Traci, and shared my vision with her. When she understood the limitations of my budget, she led me to a bedroom set that I fell in love with immediately. When I said "sold!," she handed me off to Debbie, who was very pleasant and efficient while processing the order. After that, Sydney kept me up to date with delivery information, and patiently answered some questions I had about my account. When the furniture arrived at my house, the two delivery guys, Heath and Jimmy, handled everything with great care, and assembled the bed for me.
