Horrible Customer Service!
The large lady that usually works there always treat most customers that I've seen with indignation. I politely asked for three sandwiches and the lady refused to listen to me on how the sandwiches should be done and that she decided to refuse service based on my ethnic background. It wasn't my first time having a terrible experience with that lady. I complained to management but somehow that employee is still working there. It also seems the employee lacked in hygiene by the way the store smelled inside. Whenever this employee is sick, she would not cover her mouth or face away from the counter. I have always had the suspicion that the food is contaminated with snot and coughs coming from her! I would not trust the quality of ingredients in that store. Aside from the rude employee, the store was doing great with it's other employees. I usually come by frequently to the place before this employee began working there but not so often in the recent year. But after I went in today, I will never come back. My recommendation is to go to other Subways or restaurants in the area with better service and food. The manager is awesome and hard working but I wish the place could do better on hiring better employees. I'm sorry for the long review but I wanted to let people know about the atrocious attitude of this...
Read moreI was served by Linda(as stated on my receipt), when I stopped in for a late lunch. Immediately upon entering the restaurant I was greeted with a smile and asked how my day was going. This is very important to me because in my opinion because there is nothing worse when you walk into an establishment, such as a restaurant and not being greeted, or at least acknowledged that they will be right with you in case they are busy. Linda proceeded to take my order and let me know about the specials that they had going on for the month of February (any foot-long sandwich for only $6.00. I decided on the Subway Club with all the fixings. As I love a hot sandwich, before I could inquire if I could get it hot, Linda had already asked if I wanted my sandwich heated up and told her that she read my mind. She then proceeded to pile on all the fixings as I requested by telling her "hit me with EVERYTHING you got"! Her demeanor was always friendly and she always kept a smile on her face, even though I think that I went a little overboard with the amount of extras, but dang it, I was famished! In the end the sandwich was a bit of a challenge to close up and cut in half, but Linda handled it like a pro!!! Long story short, I was very impressed by her attention to detail and genuine caring about me...
Read moreIve been to this subway at least a dozen times and have had a good experience once. I’ve met the manager who runs both this location and the one in Pleasant Grove near purple turtle (used to at least, and not the nicest to be up front) who was insulted by the fact that I had mentioned not having great experiences at either location. I work near the one in PG. Employees at the highland location are an absolute joke however and always have been. Never paying attention to what they’re doing, blasting the real slim shady while a mother and her toddlers are in the store, yelling over the counter to friends in the lobby, literally one time had a girl sit and flirt with me in front of my wife, refusing to make the sandwiches how asked, and then LITERALLY arguing with my wife on how she would like her sandwich saying “Um I’m pretty sure it tastes the same regardless” lmao. All these examples are different occasions at the same store btw. If you don’t like people mentioning that your stores are awful then do something about it or get another manager to be more present at both locations… I’m sorry but I’ve spent way too much money at both locations with nearly no good experiences to not say anything. Not worth...
