DOG UNFRIENDLY PEOPLE IN HOBOKEN - I always come to Chocopain in Hoboken with my dog, since the store opening at 15th street. I met one of the owner today who explained me that the law doesn't allow dogs inside stores in all New Jersey. I just told him I was sorry, that I did not know about it and that was the reason why I always come with my dog at his store since the opening (I also go to Trader's Joe, the bank etc...) - None of the employees never told me a thing. He clearly told me that it was impossible and also that they have the neighborhood complaining about dog even when they stay at the door (In Hoboken most LOL - the most dog friendly town in the US) - litterally that I should not bring my dog around Chocopain in Hoboken. I never met this man, his attitude was very contemptuous for someone who can pay his rent because I buy is multi grain bread once a week! When I left, I saw a water dog bowl in front of their door !! So I wonder if he just didn't like my face. I would have understood if he would have told just me that the policy changed... But pretending that I am lying is too much....

One day the owner was there (a lovely woman) and I told her the issue, but she simply blamed the addition of half and half as the reason for the temperature, sort of blaming ME for requesting it.
We all know that's nonsense, as most places serve a piping hot cup whether there's cream in it or not.
One server honestly explained to me one day that the coffee dispensers didn't have a temp gauge on them, so the workers had no idea when the coffee went cold.
How can you sell a cup of coffee AT THOSE PRICES (your main item!) and not get it right?
Unless you get there early, do not expect a hot cup of coffee. They lost a loyal customer in me over...
