Corbett's Burgers & Soda Bar — Restaurant in Holly Springs

I was looking for a place to eat on a Tuesday evening and was looking for something to eat and decided to try out the somewhat new place by the Walmart in Holly springs. When I walked in it was completely empty except for one staff member at the register and what sounded like a few more and back. The place was clean and decorated very nicely. The coolers had a very large selection of different types of soda. The menu looked interesting and I ordered a breakfast Burger. The food came out fairly quick, being I was the only one there. I brought the food home as a takeout order. When I got home a sandwich was large as I got a double patty. As soon as I get into it, it was easy to tell that these patties were from Frozen and not fresh. They did not have very much seasoning to them and did not have great taste. I also got the cheese fries and they were nothing special. I seen many comments about how the food was good, maybe I hid them on an off day or something. But the burger patties are definitely not fresh. I probably won't be back. Especially for $20. Good...

They call me Wimpy, because I literally will travel around the world to taste a good burger 🍔 😅, but this time I only had time to order the plain Waffle Fries, which come in a small bag for $3.27. I'm so sorry because I adore fries, but even though this is no longer a fish restaurant, the scent still somehow lingers, which is a little offputting. The cashier was super friendly, which I appreciated, and the establishment is clean. As a USAF Veteran, I neglected to ask for a Veteran's discount, but because I believe in giving everyone a chance, I do plan to visit again to try a burger. As someone else mentioned, the variety of bottled drinks was pretty phenomenal 👌, but like others, I hope the price may possibly be reduced in the future. I think that may encourage more people to give them a try. I wish you well, and will definitely be back for a burger one day...

My family and I are big fans of the original Corbett’s in Cary, so you can imagine how excited we were when we learned about a new location only a mile from us! Sadly, after two takeout experiences we immediately noticed a difference in taste and quality. For example, the pimento cheese on our burger did not seem fresh and it was runny. The burger patty had little flavor other than an unpleasant burnt aftertaste. We requested a glove change for our young daughter and we received what we think is a gluten free bun by mistake. We can justify paying a little more than fast food prices for a promise of better quality food and accuracy, but this place falls short of basic...
