I recently dined at Blue Wave Argentinian restaurant and wanted to share my experience. While the overall atmosphere was lively and enjoyable, the food left something to be desired.
Let's start with the positive aspects. The restaurant's ambiance was fantastic, with vibrant colors and tasteful decor that exuded a welcoming and authentic Argentinian vibe. It was a pleasure to be surrounded by such a lively atmosphere, which added to the overall dining experience.
Additionally, the service was commendable. Our server was attentive, friendly, and accommodating throughout our meal. They were knowledgeable about the menu and provided recommendations when needed. Their presence truly elevated the dining experience, and I appreciated their effort to ensure our satisfaction.
However, I must admit that the food fell short of my expectations. While the dishes were decent, they lacked the desired level of seasoning and depth of flavors. It seemed as though they were missing that essential touch to truly make them stand out. I found myself longing for a bit more salt or seasoning to enhance the overall taste. This aspect was a disappointment, considering the reputation of Argentinian cuisine for its bold flavors.
In conclusion, my visit to Blue Wave Argentinian restaurant was a mixed experience. The vibrant atmosphere and the exceptional service provided by our server created a pleasant environment. However, the food failed to meet the desired level of flavor and seasoning, leaving room for improvement. I hope that the restaurant takes this feedback into consideration and works towards refining their...
Read moreJust visited your restaurant 6/6/25 around 5pm. Pretty sure you have a reputable establishment, sad to say that we encountered Grace the drunkest waitress I’ve ever seen she even told us she was drunk. I wanted to leave then but we stayed thinking that it wasn’t going to be an issue. She tried as nice as a drunken person could be. Every drink we order was spilled on us and she came to our table multiple times asking our order over again because she didn’t write anything down and she was too intoxicated to remember anything. She wasn’t obviously rude other than knocking over drinks multiple times but after the last knocked over drink I felt it was on purpose because it happened too frequently. Absolutely, there are two side to every story and I assure you, we didn’t say a word, we just decided watched her actions and anticipated on walking away when it got too bad. I watched her converse with the hostess after she visited our table like she was bragging on how badly she was treating us. Very unsettling feeling. I will never ever visit your establishment again and I will make sure no one in my circle does either. I felt belittled and less than a human for absolutely no reason. We walked in with our smiles and greetings and left without tipping because we wore our drinks home. The food was good, she didn’t deliver the food to the table, everyone else did. I didn’t feel that I should give a tip for that type treatment and I’ve never not tipped anyone ever but this was the worst treatment me and my grieving daughter(she just lost her husband) have gotten by a long shot!!!!! I still can’t believe...

I recently visited Blue Wave Argentinian Gastropub in Hollywood, FL, and had a mixed experience, earning them a 3-star rating.
The beachfront location of the gastropub is definitely a highlight. The restaurant offers stunning views of the ocean, making it a perfect spot for a casual meal with friends or family. The staff is also very friendly and welcoming, which adds to the overall ambiance of the place.
However, the food was a mixed bag. Some dishes were enjoyable, but others tasted like they had been warmed up and not prepared fresh. This inconsistency in quality was a bit disappointing, especially given the otherwise nice atmosphere of the restaurant.
The main downside of Blue Wave Argentinian Gastropub is the pricing. The menu is quite expensive, making it hard to justify the cost, especially when considering the inconsistent food quality. This might be one of the reasons why this gastropub is often empty, despite its prime location on the Broadwalk.
In conclusion, Blue Wave Argentinian Gastropub offers a fantastic beachfront location and friendly staff, but the food quality and high prices leave much to be desired. If you're in the mood for the beautiful ocean view and don't mind spending a bit more on a meal, you might enjoy your time here. However, if you're looking for consistent quality and value for your money, you might want to explore other dining options on the Broadwalk. I give Blue Wave a...
