This place has really took a turn for the worst. My family and I use to frequent this place quite often and it was for the most part good. We decided to stop in yesterday and it turned out to be the worst decision of the day. First of all, one of our orders was wrong and had to be remade. The waitress was very non vocal and lacked any kind of interpersonal skills, but the food wasn't the worst. Secondly, we received our bill and after looking it over saw that they added an extra fee to every item we ordered and then added a predetermined 20% gratuity fee. I questioned why the price was different than what was listed on the menu and the waitress had this confused look and said she didn't know maybe they changed the prices. Then here comes ALEX(supposedly he's a manager now, but he was much better as a waiter, he's too immature to be in charge of anything) who tried to explain that it was a fee added due to the new system they just had installed. I asked to have it removed because it wasn't disclosed to me prior to ordering our food nor is it written or posted anywhere in the restaurant along with the 20% gratuity. He came up with the lie that the fee was added because I was paying with a credit card, but how so, they brought the bill with the fees added not knowing what form of payment I was going to use and after minutes of going back and forth with him getting very loud and ignorant, he very aggressively responded and I quote "this is my house and I can charge what I want to and if you don't like it don't come back." I have never felt so disrespected. To the owner this scamming practice that you've adopted along with your hired family members are going to be the downfall of your business. Be upfront and honest with your customers, but then again you bank on people not paying attention to the bill because then you turn around and have an additional line for another tip(highway robbery). This once pretty decent restaurant has now become a conniving, dishonest one. I will deal with this issue legally. Sidenote: To the owner's response. I'm reviewing the correct restaurant. Your so called manager gave me a bogus name. This is supposedly Alex. Wow!!!!!!

Where to start? We tried that place last year and it was rather good. We went back again and had really good tacos, including the fried shrimp tacos my husband kept raving about. So, we decided to go back yesterday evening. NOT good. At all. Firstly, the chips and guacamole we ordered. The guacamole was rather good, but the chips were all broken up in small pieces and very oily. Then came the tacos: I had one steak taco, one grilled mahi taco and one grilled shrimp taco. The steak taco was acceptable. The mahi taco was as bland as possible. As for the grilled shrimp, I do not believe that they were grilled at all, and worse, they were undercooked. As for my husband, he had two fried shrimp tacos and one ceviche taco. The shrimp was so fried, they were dark golden nuggets of nothingness (we complained to the waitress about it). On top of it, there was seldom crema in any of the tacos. As for the tacos, we both chose soft flour tacos and ended up with stale and brittle tacos. That place is very pricey and to serve that kind of food is just not acceptable. The restaurant couldn't really invoke being busy as there were empty tables and plenty of waiting staff. Never again. I am wondering about the ban on non biodegradable items on the beach and the plastic straws we were given with our drinks?

This beachfront Mexican restaurant is truly a hidden gem. The location alone is worth the visit — right in front of the ocean, with a breathtaking view that makes the whole experience feel like a vacation. But what really makes this place special is the combination of delicious food and genuinely friendly service. The food was incredible — we started with fresh guacamole made tableside and crispy chips, followed by fish tacos and enchiladas that were packed with flavor. Everything tasted fresh and authentic, with just the right amount of spice. One of the highlights of our visit was the staff. The waitresses were incredibly kind, attentive, and always had a smile on their faces. They made us feel welcome from the start and checked in just the right amount to make sure we had everything we needed without being overbearing. Add in a perfect sunset, great drinks (try the spicy mango margarita!), and the sound of waves in the background — and you’ve got the perfect evening. I can’t wait to come back!

FLORIDIANS BEWARE my bf googled this place because we wanted a quick taco bite, in google it says that they are open til 10, we get there @ 9 the cashier/front house guy said they were only doing takeouts from now, and that we can't eat there also ok sure, whatever we were already hesitated because it seems like they couldn't care less prices of the tacos are valid $5 etc reasonable we also got a drink a frozen margarita on a pineapple $17 sure, we got 2 tacos each so 4 in total with the items that we got our total should probably be under $50 BUT GUESS WHAT !! A 20 PERCENT TIP ALREADY ADDED ON, thats okay most places do that 1.) NOT HAVING IT MENTIONED IN THE MENU IS ILLEGAL, he asked to talked to the manager, no manager insight said that it's because their menu is old and haven't updated it yea sure i dont think they will plan on ever changing or LET YOU KNOW

2.) TIPPED FOR WHAT? they did not serve us at all, we got food that we paid for and left the guy in the front said it was for the bar? what bar? you poured a drink from a machine you did not make it,

3.) EXPIRED SAUCE, a cherry on top of the money we wasted on this taco joint is expired green sauce sour and funky smelling

shame on this establishment not only do i work in the restaurant industry too, places like this ruin the taco culture we all know and love, just because it is near the beach it doesn't mean you can scam people like that specially when your taco is not even doing anything remotely exciting bland lettuce shreds and sprinkles of tomato on a whatever protein that's mid and expired sauce. the pineapple margarita was the only...

Was told to place a to go order to order at the counter. We stood in line, with no one in front of us (plenty of people behind us) and it took 30 minutes for someone to actually TAKE our order, not get food.

When they finally did take our order, we were given no indication of how long it would take or when we would know when the order was ready. It then took another 45 minutes for the food to be ready (the only reason we knew was because we kept going back to the counter to check.) There was no room to wait inside so we had to step outside to wait.

When we got the food, the order was wrong and we had to go back inside, where the guy at the counter argued with us and contradicted what he told us when we originally ordered.

When we finally got the correct food, it was actually pretty good, but by that time, I already had a really bad taste in my mouth from the horrible experience leading up to it.

I completely understand its crazy in a restaurant when it's really busy. There is still no excuse to keep people waiting that long, that are standing RIGHT in front of you. If you can't keep up, then don't offer takeout service.

The employees were either short, argumentative, or just plain ignored the customers in line, which is terrible customer service.

The food was good, but I can't recommend this place to anyone if what we experienced is representative of how they...
