I go to the drive- thru @6: 45am July 4RTH. I order 2 bacon egg and cheese biscuits with A ROUND EGG. WELL DONE. 1 sausage mcMuffin, WELL DONE. 2 Hash Browns, WELL DONE straight from the fryer. FIRST, I was told they aren't allowed to substitute the folded egg for the ROUND EGG. Then, she asks the manager (while I'm listening at the speaker), she says, "The manager said we can't substitute the folded egg for the ROUND egg. I said, "That's not true, any other McDonald's I've been to has substituted the folded egg for the ROUND egg." Then I hear silence for about 25 seconds so I pull around to the window. Then, I repeat the order again and the NICE LADY, BRENDA, (NOT THE CASHIER FOR THE DRIVE THRU) says "oh, you're ordering the bacon egg and cheese BISCUITS.. yes, we can do that! Sorry, they thought you meant on the McMuffin." I said, "no, they KNEW what I was ordering because she repeatedly told me the ROUND egg substitution wasn't allowed, then the manager changed her mind, apparently, so thank you for being nice, Brenda." She said, "you're welcome." Then SHE repeated my order and I reminded HER to let THEM know that it was an order that is WELL DONE. I pay at the first window, then proceed to the second window and there's BRENDA AGAIN! 😁 She said "Here ya go" and handed me my food!! I said, "My order was supposed to be MADE WELL DONE," she said, "oh, it isn't right?" I said, "obviously not!!"(the hash browns weren't even hot!) "PLUS, A WELL DONE ORDER TAKES ABOUT 15 MINUTES... Would you like me to pull into drive thru slot #1?" I asked. Brenda said, "Yes, thank you." I parked and went IN. (I had a feeling the people cooking were going to give me a problem) I go in, not even 2 minutes later BRENDA gives me my food, SCORCHING HOT, LIKE IT HAD BEEN NUKED!! I tell her, "THERE'S NO WAY MY FOOD WAS COOKED FRESH & WELL DONE IN UNDER 3 MINUTES!!! THEY MICROWAVED MY FOOD!! The FRONT cashier says, "It IS a holiday and it's early, IT'S CALLED FAST FOOD FOR A REASON." I said, "I PLACED MY ORDER WELL DONE, FAST FOOD CAN BE MADE FRESH WHEN REQUESTED!!" "There isn't ANYBODY IN THE DRIVE-THRU, NOBODY IS IN THIS ESTABLISHMENT!!" MEANWHILE, there are 6 people in the back screwing off, (ONE CHUNKY BLACK GIRL) WITH A CLEANING SPRAY BOTTLE, CHASING ANOTHER GIRL (WITH A LONG BLONDE PONY TAIL ALEXIA OR ALESHIA)SPRAYING HER AND GETTING IT ALL OVER THE FLOOR!!! (which is a safety hazard) and the manager is NO WHERE TO BE SEEN AND SAYS NOTHING!!! IT'S A CIRCUS ACT WHILE THE 2 CASHIER'S MAKE EXCUSES FOR THE ENTIRE FIASCO.. I ASKED, "WHO IS THE MANGER ON DUTY?" I WAS TOLD LA SONDRA, LASHONDA, LASHONDRA, HOWEVER SHE SAID IT, BUT, SHE DIDN'T COME TO APOLOGIZE FOR MY INCONVENIENCE, NOR DID SHE CARE ONE BIT ABOUT HER EMPLOYEES PERFORMANCE OR THEIR SCREWING OFF IN FRONT OF A CUSTOMER!!! IT WAS ABSOLUTE NEGLIGENCE!! I WISH CORPORATE COULD HAVE SEEN THIS ONE. HEY CORPORATE CHECK YOUR CAMERAS AT THIS LOCATION!! YOU'LL BE FIRING PEOPLE INSTEAD OF FIREWORKS! I GAVE 1 STAR FOR THE 1 PERSON WHO ACTUALLY DID THEIR JOB POLITELY, AND BROUGHT MY FOOD WITH A SMILE. BRENDA NEEDS TO BE PROMOTED OR GIVEN A RAISE OR AN AWARD FOR PUTTING UP WITH ALL OF THESE LAZY SLOTHS HERE! I CAN'T EVEN SAY THEY'RE IGNORANT BECAUSE THEY ALL KNOW BETTER!!! THEY'RE NOT ALL TEENAGERS!! IT'S A SHAME AND A DISGRACE. I WILL NOT GO HERE AGAIN. GOOD LUCK BRENDA, YOU'RE GOING TO NEED IT SWEETIE. She finally gave me my well done food after 25 minutes of UNNECESSARY chaos. THE MANAGER NEEDS TO TAKE RESPONSIBILITY (WHICH IS AN UNDERSTATEMENT) FOR THE REST OF THE STAFFS' BEHAVIOR AND LACK OF...
Read moreAm spending time in Florida during Hurricane Florence as an evacuee. My company, who is based out of Florida suggested I headed south while both North and South Carolina flood waters continued to rise. I explained this to the afternoon staff on 9/23/2018 and on 9/24/2018 the situation taking . When I asked for water I was turned away. Fortunately the irrigation system in Taco Bell, Burger King, and then finally this McDonalds, had their irrigation systems preset to turn on in the middle opened up so that I could get water for my medicine in an attempt to prevent a surgery.
While this was going on, I was provided with a McDonalds cup where I was able to drink the parking lot drain water of the Burger King. Worked out rather well actually, as I was able to take my seizure medication, but of course it was full of gravel and dirt.
The one thing that is odd, is I would think Florida, of all states, would be at least maybe 10% understanding. Instead, at the “24 hour location”, it was decided the basics of bread and water simple because I explained to them that Interstate 40 in North Carolina was still scheduled to be flooded for around another 3 weeks.
So word to the wise..... NEVER inform them that you are about to fly home via Ft Lauderdale if your state is just had a 500 Year Storm or some other SEVERE natural disaster. Because for some reason, there policy is to tell you that they open at 5am, play shadow games with their vehicles to trick you into thinking you are in trouble, and then assuming your two ignorant enough to believe that they said the dining room would open at 5pm in case you might forget when you’re staying in a Hyatt House for the night.
I heavily doubt that Steve Easterbrook is mad, upset, or even disappointed. I’d wager all my chips that he is simply embarrassed.
Best of luck to other folks who are assisted...
Read moreI am writing to express my disappointment regarding my recent visit to your McDonald's. On 05/12/24 I purchased an order of Chicken McNuggets and French fries, expecting the usual quality and taste that I have come to associate with your establishment. However, I was deeply dissatisfied with the products I received.
Firstly, the Chicken McNuggets were subpar in both texture and taste. They were noticeably smushy and had a strange, unappetizing texture that I have never encountered before. Regrettably, due to time constraints, I was unable to return to the restaurant to address this issue in person, which left me feeling frustrated and dissatisfied.
Furthermore, the French fries I received were disappointingly soggy, lacking the crispiness and flavor that I have come to expect from McDonald's fries. This compounded my dissatisfaction with the overall dining experience.
As a loyal customer, this is the first time I have encountered such a significant issue with the quality of your food. The disparity between my expectations and the actual products I received left me feeling like I had wasted my money and tarnished my perception of McDonald's.
I urge you to address the quality control issues at Sheridan Ave., Miami, FL McDonald's to ensure that other customers do not have similar negative experiences in the future. Additionally, I would appreciate some form of compensation for the inconvenience and disappointment caused by this incident.
I hope to receive a prompt response regarding this matter and look forward to your efforts in rectifying...
