Went in for takeout, friendly workers at the counter and cute place for dine in for sure! Really nothing like this in the area. I got the garlic chicken (I gotta try the garlic chicken Everytime I see it at a new place) Taste: 9.0 Man I've been longing for a nice garlic sauce on garlic chicken and this one is really good! Not too garlicky, not too sweet it's ALMOST perfect. Maybe just a tad bit more salt or soy sauce since its definitely on the lighter side in terms of color. Crunch: 8.5 Potato starch does it's thing here, almost reminiscent of the tasty chicken from aiea bowl. Was able to decently hold it's crunch while in the takeout box for about 15minutes! Chicken: 9.0 Seems like it's either marinated or brined chicken thighs, since it's really moist and doesn't straight up just taste like chicken which is a good thing! I think I should've asked for some of the sauce on the rice too haha. Also the portion is pretty generous! When I grabbed the box out of the bag it definitely had some heft 😆 Can't wait to try the other items like the fried rice and "Shoyu chicken sandwich"

I can’t tell you all how over the moon I am about the breakfast I had this morning!!! Such a pleasant surprise and shockingly low prices, like I was gagged, okay. The breakfast burrito with steak will be in my dreams forever, it is hands down the best breakfast burrito I have ever had!!! Paired with the spicy cilantro sauce, oh my goodness, it was absolutely delicious. It was like nothing I’ve ever tasted before and will definitely be visiting again so I can take pictures to do this review justice. (I was so hungry and just dug right in). My wife got the some French toast to try out and the garlic chicken plate that came with rice and macaroni, which was again DELICIOUS. The waiters were super kind and very attentive to us. There’s not a negative thing that could be said about our experience. 12/10.

Located in Puck’s Alley on University Avenue, Oli’s Kitchen is a hidden gem. Very welcoming owners and crew! We had a great 96th birthday celebration planned at the last minute. Excellent service and food! I ordered from the catering menu to dine in with family for a party of 18. We should have ordered another pan of tofu salad because the salad itself and the dressing were very tasty! Everyone loved the kalbi and furikake salmon, baked just right (moist & not dry). The kids mostly ate the garlic shrimp. Although there was a second floor of parking, we had elderly and street level parking was pretty close to the restaurant. The entry to Oli’s Kitchen is on the left of Nijiya Market’s doors on University and King streets.

Oli's kitchen not only has the best food, but the biggest hearts. Two months ago, my boyfriend tried their breakfast burrito and absolutely loved it. This past week, my boyfriend suffered a TBI and is in a coma. I needed to help the family be encouraged to eat, so I went to Oli's kitchen right at 8AM. Oliver, the owner, welcomed me in and allowed me to tell our story and situation and that I would have a big order. He listened thoughtfully and said they could have it ready in an hour and deliver it to the hospital. I just wanted to sob with gratefulness. A few days later, he reached out to offer us even more of his delicious food and check in on how the family and my boyfriend is doing. He brought us so much food with no charge to feed the bellies of our family going through this traumatic time and also the nurses and doctors working hard to save lives. This family business is the definition of true Ohana and Aloha and they make their delicious food with care and attention. Thank you to Oli, your family, and your staff for being there for strangers...
