Terrible service! I went with a student who ordered a meal, but because I didn’t order anything, the staff treated us with obvious coldness and disrespect. Absolutely unacceptable behavior — I won’t be coming back. During the meal, before my student had finished eating, the staff attempted to take away the plate. After my student stopped her, she walked away without offering any apology. Shortly after, the check was tossed onto the table — no eye contact, no words, just hostility. I was shocked by this level of service. When we asked for clarification, the restaurant manager responded by saying, “We are not a food court.” This statement, clearly dismissive and borderline discriminatory, was not only unprofessional but also deeply disrespectful to us as customers. There was no posted policy about a minimum order or one-dish-per-person rule. I was quietly accompanying a student, not taking up space or causing any disruption. Still, we were treated as if we were a burden. Completely unacceptable. I will not return. Worse, this interaction left a negative impression on the student, which is especially disappointing given the educational and social nature of the outing.

When we came here in the past, it was located inside the Food Court at Ala Moana Center, but it has since relocated here and became a single . The restaurant was spacious, but crowded during dinner time. We ordered Nagasaki champon and a mini teriyaki chicken bowl. Both dishes were authentic Japanese flavors and delicious.🍜 05/11/2024 The prices are reasonable and you can enjoy authentic Japanese flavors, so we came here again today. We had the Kake Udon (simple udon) and Tempura Donburi. The udon had a light, delicate broth with a good flavor, and the tempura had a light batter, making it fairly crispy and delicious.

Ringer Hut is a famous restaurant brand in Kyushu island in Japan, particularly known well for Nagasaki prefecture. Nagasaki is famous city for noodle, especially Jjampong, since it has been played a big harbor for traditional Japan. All the items and cultures including food culture and recipes came through Nagasaki, and it made Nagasaki be famous for Jjampong. I was glad to taste this Nagasaki Jjampong from Hawaii, and the taste is very similar or the same as I experienced in Japan. Its not hot spicy and I personally liked this noodle since I could ear lots of veggies together.

We were absolutely amazed with the flavours. We had Karaage Chicken which was so huge and tender. We also had the teriyaki chicken and crumbed pork fillet. OMG! All of it was absolutely outstanding. The teriyaki chicken thighs just fell apart and melted in your mouth. The Karaage chicken pieces were absolutely huge and also very tasty. The food was the best Japanese dishes I’ve ever experienced in all my years of eating Japanese. Not to mention the staff. They were sooooo helpful and not to mention the courtesy and friendliness. The price was great considering the large serves. The restaurant and kitchen were very clean and well presented. I would not only recommend, but would suggest that you definitely give this restaurant a go if ever in Honolulu. I was soooo impressed about the whole experience and wish we had this restaurant locally in Cairns AUS. Do yourself a favour and totally ignore the overall rating as it DOES NOT reflect what we experienced today. Those that have it a low rating obviously have no idea on amazing dining and brilliant food. Thank you to the team at Ringer Hut. I would return in a heartbeat for more food to indulge....

It is hard to get a good meal in the mall's food court, but I must say that the Champon here is very good and a healthier option that fills you up and is tasty as well.

I got the Fujiyama Champon which is their largest portioned Champon. It is loaded and you need to be hungry for it. I must admit that I had big eyes when I ordered it and couldn't finish it.

What I like most about order Champon is that it is made fresh, packed with lots of veggies, not oily or heavy, and tastes great. Much rather have this then Ramen which is just noodles, an oily and salty broth, and a some meat.

Being that this is in the mall food court, it isn't exactly going to be the type of place that has a bend of backwards type of service, but they are friendly for the most part and get your...
