I usually trust Google reviews but thank GOODNESS I didn't read the reviews before trying this quaint little stall at the DonQ food court. I always walked past it but decided to try it this time since I was craving some VEGGIES! AND YOU KNOW THAI AND VIETNAMESE CUSINES LOVE THEIR VEGGIES! For a small place they have QUITE the menu options! We ordered: * summer rolls (came with a tangy peanut sauce) * chicken satay (came with the most AMAZING peanut oil sauce I'm ordering this for the summer rolls next time) - the flavor on this was fantastic too, not dry and came with a very light coconut cream which I enjoyed and don't like coconut lol. * rad na (this is my fav dish to get at thai places and not every thai place has it but basically a savoury gravy noodle dish * larb (protein lettuce wraps) - ground chicken for protein and I was a bit worried when it didn't come with any sauce but it was SEASONED so well it didn't need any! The food was SO DELICUOUS EVERY BITE!! And SO SO affordable especially right outside of Waikiki, nice portion sizes and all around $10-12 for each plate??!?! We got our plates pretty fast too! Service was friendly! I'll be back for the mango sticky rice ! The only miss was the thai tea but ugh nothing beats thailand, amirite.. ?

Based on the reviews, it looks as though Thai Taste is hit or miss but it was a hit when my daughter and I visited. After a long day of walking around and a stop at Don Quixote, we needed a bite to eat. The row of restaurants that line the storefront had hours that stated a 10pm close but by 8pm, everything except for Thai Taste had shuttered up. We ordered the Chicken Pad See Ew, Chicken Pad Thai, Thai Tea, and a Coke- less than $30 before tip - so the prices are reasonable. Freshness, texture, and seasoning were good and portion size was ok (see pic). I personally wouldn't have minded if there was about 30% more volume though. Great experience overall!

Really good food! Very hot (warm) and spicy as we asked! We had Pad See Ew and Pad Kee Mao. In my Pad Kee Mao, I got it with tofu and I had them add an egg for which they only charged me an extra $1. I also requested for them to ensure the grill and cooking materials were cleaned and there was no contamination with pork or other meats. They were very kind and said they do that already! Really loved our noodle dishes! The spot is a small one along with a host of other small restaurants outside of Don Quixote. Seating is on the tables/benches outside.

Ordered Tomyang soup and spring roll, Waited 45 min for my food, got into my car and got the wrong order. Went back to look for parking again I told her it’s not the right order I’m missing my spring roll. She apologized which is fine . Waited for another 20 min for my food got to my car again and so excited to eat my spring Roll, expecting to be fresh and hot. And it was not hot it seems that they had it there for a while and it’s very frustrating ! Hungry and tired and I got the most poor service and not so good food at all! Will never come back to this restaurant again! The cashier doesn’t seem to be sorry...
