In town for business and the security guard told us to eat lunch at Zippy's and have the Zip Pack. Not only did we have the Zip Pack, we had the Deluxe. In my mind, to have a plate with all of these very different things makes little sense - but it works. Especially when you are hungry! It's about a pound of rice, lol, a piece of fried fish, beef teriyaki, fried SPAM and a deep fried chicken thigh! Macaroni salad is on the same plate and the DELUXE version will add a huge scoop of chili on the rice. While none of these will be anywhere close to the best you've ever had - completing the lunch will give you a story to tell for the rest of your life! I'm guessing it's 2500 calories and I didn't want to eat for the rest of the day. Our server was hilarious and had fun with us. Decor is like a "mid" diner. The locals back at our office LOVE this place and were glad we stopped in.

If you don't like dealing with karens (small k) I would recommend avoiding Zippy's at this location. Known for their mediocre food which has recently switched to microwave prepared, Zippy's is conveniently located and has free parking. On a recent visit, a family member was accosted in the restroom by a karen with arms waving, fingers pointing and insults flying. This karen in a Hope Chapel jacket, marched straight to the manager who in an effort to appease her, stormed right up to our table to counsel us on the one person bathroom policy. Perhaps Zippy's should do one of the following: 1. put a lock on the inside of the door. 2. Put an occupied sign on the outside of the door. 3. Assign a full-time employee to monitor the restroom or 4. Escort karens to the curb and ask them to check for parking meter violations. Instead he choose to ruin the time that we had for this meal with my family. I won't be back anytime soon especially since the microwave is working overtime at Zippy's now due to the lack of personnel in the kitchen, and washing your hands in the restroom can get you assaulted.

I just don’t understand why people are crazy about Zippy’s. The food here is nothing to rave about. Today we went here “defiantly not my choice.” Ordered a bunch. Large Won ton noodles($13.35), Mini Korean fried chicken plate($13), Zippy’s omelet($14.35). One of our guest was hungry and added, chili cheese fires($9.55), side toast($3.50), corn soup($6.90), a side of bacon($7.50), Coffee($2.95), and Liliko drink($4.10). Each of our entree was $13-$14, and $35 of sides. Whatever…. But how did all taste? Not worth the $80 plus tip we paid for lunch. The first pice of fried chicken I ate was cold, I would have sent it back to the kitchen, but the second one was not cold, not hot. It wasn’t anything exiting worth having them make me a hot one. I tasted everything else.. nothing exciting. Just protein and carbs to fill up your stomic. It didn’t seem like they had enough people working there for the amount of customers there. The atmosphere is really boring. I’m sorry Zippy’s, it’s not for me.

Food here was pretty good! The Pork Eggplant was a little light in flavor, but we're okay with that. Sweet Sour Spareribs were good and homely. Mac Salad was saltier than expected. The Teri Beef, however, stole the show. It was the best in flavor. We also got Corn Chowder, which was pretty good. Service was not the best. Our server brought our food, saw our glasses were low, said she'll come back and fill them up, but went missing for the rest of the meal. We asked for the check, and were presented with two checks. Turns out the waiter had entered the wrong items initially, opened another order with the right items. We had to double check to make sure we weren't charged twice. That aside, this is good, homely food. Would recommend for the Teri Beef alone.

Clean, spacious, well-lit and conveniently located with friendly staff. Can’t go wrong with the iced tea on a hot day.
