Ruby Tuesday — Restaurant in Hopewell Township

I was EXTREMELY disappointed this visit. As we arrived there appeared to be two waitresses but it wasn't busy. The one waitress was taking care of everyone and we waited to be seated. I saw that waitress finally ask the other to seat us. The second waitress was by the register on her cell phone. The second seated us then went somewhere else. She returned and asked for our drinks at which time we were ready to order food also. We decided on the 2 for $24 option with both of us adding the salad bar for $5.99. We ordered mozzarella sticks as an appetizer. We got our salads and ate them. The waitress returned soon with our entrees without our appetizer. We asked for them and she couldn't give a reason why they didn't come out at which point she disappeared again. It was obvious to us she never put them into order. She finally brought them after an approximate amount of time to cook them. We finished our meal and asked for a box for the appetizer and the check. Remember we ordered 2 for $24, the check was for 2 entrees at $16.49, 2 salad bars at $5.99 each and in addition added the mozzarella sticks which were part of the 2 for $24. My wife took the check to the bar area where she was to question it and she stated it was an easy fix. An easy fix that should never have happened! My wife and I are both retired so we must watch what we spend. If we hadn't questioned the bill it would have been much more than it should have been. My main complaint is that we were her only customers at the time while the other waitress waited on the other tables. It conclusion if she hadn't been "playing " on her cellphone she might not have messed up our order so badly. We don't have many Ruby Tuesdays in our area anymore and travel almost an hour each way to this location. I don't think we will be returning...

I never post reviews but this place was so awful I can't resist. We waited about 5 min in line at the door with plenty of tables free in plain site while the hostess scribbled on her pad and wandered back and forth to bar. The booth we were put at was the last one in the row so it was cramped and we asked the waitress when she came if we could change to the one right across that was bigger and she rolled her eyes like we had asked her pick us up to move or something. The waitress was unfriendly and couldn't be bothered to do much. After getting our drinks it was at least 15 min before food arrived. And no surprise she got the order wrong. She also didn't bring us napkins or silverware, my wife had to go to the bar to get those because the waitress immediately disappeared in to the ether for half an hour. The food was awful. I order chicken tenders with fries. You really can do better at home making your own from frozen in the toaster oven. The fries were some of the worst, obviously frozen and heated up in some flash oven and covered in so much salt I could have filled the salt shaker up with what I scraped off. The tenders were about McDonalds nuggets quality. My wife's chicken sandwich was pitiful. She picked apart the best of what was there. Eventually the waitress came around and I asked for the bill so we could get out of there. Many other tables were waiting for her to do something, anything. And not surprising the bathrooms were pretty disgusting. This place really takes the prize for the worst dining I've had...

Update 2 years later2025* Still not impressed. I ordered a ribeye quesadilla. There was so much cheddar and zero mozzarella on my quesadilla. The cheddar over powered the meat that I couldn't even eat one quarter of it. I couldn't taste anything other than cheddar or even get any other flavor. It was not very good. At one point I even wondered if I was even eating beef entirely.. I think I'm done with Ruby Tuesdays entirely. I'm sorry

To add, the service was on point, so we have that. I really wanted a delicious salad but because of my last experience I decided to not do the salad bar. The glasses and dishes were so spotted up that I couldn't tell if they were dirty or if this place couldn't afford a spot cleaning. Needless to say I was hesitant to put my mouth on the cutlery and even the glassware simply because of my last experience where everything was sticky. I'm sorry but right now i don't think I'll be back. I've given this place three chances but this specific establishment is not doing very good for the entire Ruby Tuesdays reputation.

2023** There were questionable things about this place. The table I sat at was sticky, with a layer of dust on it. The food tasted freezer burnt. The wine I ordered was definitely not what I ordered. But the service was good....
