Bailey's Dairy Treat — Restaurant in Hot Springs

If I could give no stars, I would. I was scammed by the nicest little old Asian man. I ordered 5 double cheeseburgers. 3 small shakes and 1 order of French fries and 1 order of onion rings. I always speak clear English to make sure I am being understood as my in laws are Asian and I have learned to be clear. I got my bill and he had charged me 77.00 and then another 9+ on a separate ticket due to him forgetting to add the fries and onion rings. It seemed high so I added everything. It didn’t come up right. I kept getting 10-12.00 less than his total. I asked him to clarify it. He says I ordered the jumbo double cheeseburger. Again, my son was standing right there when I ordered. No mention of jumbo was ever made. I said this is not what I wanted and he just said sorry and walked off. Now mind you, he could have tried to clarify with me which double cheeseburgers I wanted if he thought I was unclear. He made no effort then either. Obviously this was his intention to begin with which is why he was less than accommodating. So I waited for my food. I received the jumbo cheeseburgers I guess but they weren’t what I asked for and frankly aren’t made the same so I was disappointed. The fries were 4.00 and came in a very small 3 inch container. I got 5 onion rings for over 4.00. The prices are high anyway and I get it, everyone is trying to make a buck and survive. That’s why you would think he would be appreciative of big orders and just keep it in the up and up. Unfortunately it looks like he takes the opportunity to scam people who make large orders. I hope he enjoyed my money, I won’t be back to him again. He can smile all the way to bank this time. Even people who have ill will know...

I can promise you the owner charges extra when people order a lot of food. He doesn’t give detailed receipts. Total scam. We’ve had been going here a while, we have three kids and the total was always just over 100.00! My husband always paid and never asked for a receipt, but commented on how the total was a lot. I went in today and ordered for only my two boys with one extra order of fries and the total was 42.00! I asked for a receipt and it only had the total. I went to my car before the food was ready and added everything up. It came to 26.00 before tax. I went to the window and he kept making excuses. I ordered a meal deal. 9.95, which came with a burger, fries and a drink. I asked to substitute for a shake and I’ll pay the difference. He said they don’t do that. Ok so charge me for a meal, then add a shake, but no. He charged me for each thing individually. The order still wasn’t close to 42.00. He refused to go over the bill with me. Then o get home and he shorted me two items.the food isn’t even good. The problem is people in hot springs don’t know good food. I’m only visiting and I’ll never come back here if I’m...

No stars is exactly what that place needs!! My husband went to get ice cream his change was suppose to be $10.65 he recieved the .65 but the guy refused the $10 knowing he didnt give the rest of the change. Just because my husband had other money in his wallet didn't mean he shouldn't of received his change. When he was called on it he said he gave him $10 back then not even 2 minutes later he said he gave him a $5 and some ones..so lost some customers due to this issue. All he had to do is give the correct change back and everything would of been good. Instead he calls my husband names in front of everyone which was not appropriate at all. He had a 9 yr old with him and that was so wrong in many ways. Someone needs manners ,respect and needs to know how to treat customers..which this guy doesn't knowat...
