I’ll start out by saying I nv leave reviews and I had to for this one. I came in from out of town to visit my family. Was excited to go to this restaurant as I used to growing up. First off the salsa servings were so small it felt like two table spoons amount per little container. And they only gave us three small servings for the whole table. We asked for more (two small containers per person) the waitress was super reluctant to give us any and only brought two more back. Then we told her again that we would like two per person so if she could bring more to which she was hesitant. By the end of it it took her three trips to give us what we asked and her not wanting to or understanding I’m still not sure. We would pay if need be. But that wasn’t that big of a deal although it was frustrating. When they brought out the plates they got my order wrong (my order was chicken covered in queso, they forgot the queso) which still I wasn’t angry, mistakes happen. They took the plate and brought it back with two slabs of square cheese layered on top not even fully melted. And everything else on my plate including lettuce was microwaved or heated and my lettuce and sour cream were hot. We told them that we wanted queso not the whole plate microwaved with square cheese. He said they grilled the meet, which can not be true if the lettuce and cold stuff on the plate had been heated as well. Overall it was a stressful experience and we won’t be back. The waitresses seemed uninterested in serving us. My family and I nv cause problems or complain, today I felt guilty like maybe we are the problem and complaining to much, but i eventually realized the service...

The service was good, and we were checked on adequate times during our meal for drink refills and so forth.

The meal, itself, was not the greatest, according to our taste buds. The complementary tortilla chips were stale and the salsa was extra liquidy and too sweet, as well as it lacked cilantro. I asked for some type of spice (they had Tabasco) to add and enhance the flavor, along with salt and pepper seasonings. Those were no help at all.

I speciality ordered Vegas-style street tacos with veggies, which came with Spanish rice and refried beans. I also ordered guacamole and fries for the table. (My meal came out and I had to request lemons and limes, which did not come with the meal.) The tacos and guacamole were flavorless, even with the addition of lemon and lime squeezes...and the Tabasco.

My partner ordered the vegetable chimichanga with beans and rice. The chimichanga was missing the red peppers that it was supposed to contain, and the veggies inside were mushy to the touch. On top of it all, the chimichanga was too greasy and not drained properly.

The ice water was crisp, the tea was delightful, and the fries were the best part of the meal. How unfortunate?! Perhaps it is our TexMex taste buds that interfered with our ability to enjoy...

I have never ordered from the restaurant and sat inside to eat, so let me just preface with this- THIS IS A BITE SQUAD TAKEOUT ORDER REVIEW.

I ordered through bite squad, which I have never had issues with including now and this is not about them. I ordered the following- Burrito Dinner Preparation : Carne Asada Enchiladas (2) Preparation : Chicken Tacos (2) Burrito Meal with Tostada.

The meals came packaged poorly The Tostada was a absolute joke, I mean literally just beans that got stuck on the wrapping and was absolute slob, I have seen better food out of a can. The tostada shell Immediately broke and fell apart.

The chicken Taco's where small enough to fit through a petite woman's fingers, and the shredded chicken was disgusting. Shells poorly made. The seasoning was disgusting, and I usually don't say that.

The burrito, Upon grabbing it initially immediately fell apart no hold AT ALL. It was also disappointing due to the fact that the sides they give you, which is usually rice and beans was literally like a sprinkle of what it should have been. Guacamole levels was impoverished.

I will definitely never be ordering take out from this Establishment again.

If you want respectable food, order from Picante, Salsa's, or...

This place is really beautiful as far as atmosphere goes, no matter what dining room you get. The service is quick and the lunch prices are really good. Three stars only because it’s just good tex-mex. Not the best in town but still good. I appreciate some of the variety on the menu as far as tex-mex goes. I recommend the fish tacos on the lunch menu. The sopes they have listed as chalupas on the menu are priced really well for three of them and you can mix-n-match which is awesome- just note they are a little on the chewy side and tough to cut with a fork. I tried the fajita adobadas and it was okay, it was really wet and the meat was a bit chewy for my taste. My friend always gets the nachos and swears by them but I never really get nachos since chips are complementary. I also tried the arrachera steak which comes on an impressive long thin skillet. They assumed I wanted flour tortillas but I recommend the corn. It comes with some delicious grilled onions, cilantro, beans and rice and avocado. The steak had great flavor, it was thin and perfect for little steak tacos. It was by far the best item I’ve had here.

Warning!!! Health Inspector should close this place down. Food is disgusting. Plates are FILTHY with old greasy and dried on food. I ate 1/3 of my plate and took the rest for the dogs. This place must be under New Management because when I ate here a year ago it was great. I never asked for a discount I just told them it was gross. No discount was offered. I ate here on my wedding anniversary and neither of us were pleased with the subpar food. Very disappointing and disgusting. We ordered vegetable fajitas and they were clearly microwaved vegetables that were overcooked, sour cream tasted incredibly off, everything was gross. Never again.
