Dunkin' + Baskin-Robbins — Restaurant in Houghton

i had the worst ice cream experience of my life at this baskin robins, thanks to one of this location's drive-thru cashiers.

let me paint a little picture for you

my partner and i go to baskin robbins because we have a bogo sundae coupon. we're excited. we get in the drive thru and see that they have these items under the sundae menu (the one that says sundae) called creature creations. we get even more excited. i get the wizard because it's the coolest one. my partner gets the second coolest one (dragon) because i got there first, you snooze you lose. we get to the window and the cashier, BAILEY, looks at our coupon and flatly says "creature creations aren't sundaes". this was immediately followed by a demanding "$10.58". i cannot convey the tone through text but i can promise you it was fairly rude. at that point i'm bewildered. bailey stunlocked my brain and the only thing i was capable of doing was handing over the debit card. she starts to hand out our SUNDAES and little paper crowns, i'm excited again. nothing good can last at this baskin robins, though. we get a pristine looking dragon crown and one elf themed crown that is already sized for a small head and stained with coffee. if i could bet, i would say that hat was on a child before it got to me. gross. needless to say this absolutely harshed my vibe, so much so that we had to note bailey's name down from the reciept. when attempting to call the store, nobody picked up and we were sent to a voicemail box that was not set up. i just want to hear her say sorry. until then, we're a dairy queen household.

We were excited to try the new restaurant.

It was very chaotic inside. They have two registers. One at the donuts and one at the ice cream area, but when we tried to find which line we wanted, people were ordering donuts and ice creams at either line. There were lines going everywhere. When they gave us the drinks out of our order, we didn't realize that they deleted the rest of our order off of their screens. the staff is kind of friendly but the quality of their products is so terrible. i get the same order at least 2-3 times a week and they consistently leave out one or more ingredients of my drink which is kind of absurd to me as a former dunkin employee and current barista myself, and its not a complicated order at all its a cold brew with cream caramel and hazelnut and then whenever you order food prepare for it to be undercooked or completely burnt, so...
