Having never been to a tea room, I wasn’t entirely sure what to expect. I was thinking garden party, so my companions and I dressed for the garden—in florals. The place: Dimly lit, so you may need to get creative reading the menus. There were maybe half a dozen small tables in the back area of the shop with tablecloths and centerpieces to set the mood. Along the walls are hooks which provide a home for hats. In fact, there are enough hats that there’s a collection on a short wall separating part of the seating area. In addition to the hat collection, there’s also a collection of tea sets as decor. The food (and tea): I’ve only seen a tea menu this long in one other place. The variety is splendid and offers so much variation that it’s difficult to choose if you’re an adventuresome tea drinker who wants to try it all. I settled on After Dark Chai, and it changed my mind about drinking only chai lattes. Clearly I’ve been drink the wrong chai before this. The food was, in a word, dainty. I definitely felt like I was at a tea party when finger sandwiches and tiny scones came out on tiered trays. The sandwiches and baked goods were fabulous, the Mac and cheese was a little underwhelming. The service: Delightful and personable. I appreciated the breakdown of what was on each tea tray, the explanation of what to eat first. Especially if we wanted to eat the scones while they were warm! Next time: I might just go for tea and scones. As other reviewers have mentioned, it’s a little pricey, but for a leisurely afternoon spent sipping tea and chatting with friends, it was well worth it.

Expensive but sooo fun! Definitely a cute date spot or friend day. I felt like a queen with my fancy tea cup and moose dessert. Would recommend for tea but the food was a little pricy for me. Their were many tea options! I got one with Cardamom and it was delicious! Meg gave us great service.

So many lovely tea options! Me and my friends had so much fun sipping tea and eating dainty pastries. Great friendly service, the waitress seemed a bit overworked, so everything took a little longer than expected. But we made some fun memories and had a great time talking.

Four Seasons Tea Room was lovely! I had inquired about hosting my bridal shower there. Andi was extremely helpful from planning it from start to finish. I had lots of questions and had them all answered. We stayed in contact as the event came closer, which reassured me that everything would work out perfect! Andi and the other staff were super accommodating to my needs and the needs of my guests. We had a small intimate bridal shower with table games and present opening. The staff made sure our tea cups were filled. Food was delicious and came out in a perfect timely manner. One of the staff members even made sure that one of my young guests was entertained throughout the event. Everything truly was wonderful. I thank Andi and the rest...

The food is fantastic, the entrees and dessert never disappoint. The whole afternoon tea tray is fantastic and it changes every time I go there and they're not afraid to try new things, such as a mango chutney sandwich or a turkey sandwich with orange filling. The tea here is fantastic. I'm not much of a dark tea drinker, but I've heard it's as good as their herbal teas, which I enjoy. Definitely worth getting a reservation on Thursdays in the early afternoon as they have live music from Mike Irish, the former MTU Jazz director and it adds another layer to...
