I've been to Community Bar on multiple occasions over the past few years, and always had a pleasant time. Granted, I never really paid any attention to the bar itself, just my company and my Mo-Tea-To. Upon my last visit, I suddenly realized, without a hot guy to distract me, that it's not really all it's cracked up to be:(

I visited about a week ago and learned they make their own ginger beer. That's cool! But, I don't like ginger. Despite the drink menu being an array of ginger based drinks, there's a full bar; so, I didn't have any trouble finding a drink. They were out of something that contributes to the Mo-Tea-To (I'm guessing the Mint Firefly); so, I went with the something fancy named but was nothing more than a Firefly Sweet Tea vodka and lemonade. It tasted like a standard sweet tea vodka and lemonade - nothing special - except the price. This simple, non-specialty concoction was $8. I can order this anywhere in town and pay no more than $5 unless I'm in a bottle service night club (in which case I'm poppin' bottles and makin' it rain all while looking classy and pretty). I thought this was a bit excessive. If they had infused the vodka themselves or something, by all means, but otherwise, "no sir".

The other thing that I finally noticed is the odd smell in the bathroom. It smells like every villain from Marvel and DC found a locker room and died....and that locker room is the bathroom at Community Bar. I don't really know how one would remedy this, but it's important to have a pleasant bathroom for the ladies - this isn't Numbers 2 where you-call-its are 25 cents.

I've heard great things about the food (especially the tacos); so, I might pop back in, but I'll stick to the house wine and avoid...

I came to Community Bar expecting a laid-back local spot—and instead ended up staying way longer than I meant to. Thanks a lot, guys.

JP is one of those bartenders who remembers your name, makes a solid drink every time, and is just a little too good at making you feel welcome. Not sure if he’s mixing cocktails or running for mayor, but either way, he’s got the charm down.

Kevin isn’t just a bartender—he’s the kind of person who turns a regular night out into a memorable one. His personality is the perfect mix of funny, laid-back, and just the right amount of sarcastic to keep you laughing between sips. He knows how to read the room, makes everyone feel welcome (even the awkward folks), and somehow remembers your drink and your name like he’s got a secret superpower.

Great balance of low-key energy and “accidentally stayed till last call” vibes. Great drinks, great crowd, and even better people behind the bar.

Highly recommend. Just don’t blame me when you’re still there on a Tuesday night “just...

I went for tacos and ended up with a burger. Community bar is under new ownership. I knew something was different when I walked in. Owners were very attentive and accepting. I had an issue with my burger. When they did a round of check ins I expressed my concerns. They were very understanding and corrected the problem quickly. Overall my experience was good. The attentive and willingness to correct was great. I tried one of the soon to be signature drinks it was so tasty and fruit. The dessert is a must try, if I’m not mistaken it’s a homemade bread pudding with fruit. I was skeptical at first because I’m not a huge fan of anything pudding related but it is a really good dessert. They also have rib tips on their menu so I will be back to try them out. My service review is not based on the owners but the staff themselves. Under new ownership Owners: Justin and Oliver Bar Consultant: Kisha Neighbor bar Cashless Card, Apply and Google pay Accepted Indoor and outdoor seating Full bar

Stumbled upon this place while looking for a dinner spot. We noticed that Tuesday was Steak night so decided to mosey over. There is a parking lot in front and wrapping around the side of the bar. The ambience is quite dark which is both good and bad. They have a pretty comprehensive drink list along with some great cocktails. I got the hibiscus version of the Moskal meal which is pretty good. Is a little better for my taste but it was still enjoyable. For the state, they offered a ribeye steak which was huge. It is easily for two people. I got mine medium well and was super happy. The meet was still quite juicy and also with it being ribeye, the bits of fat was super helpful in making it not dry. The sides of cream corn and mashed potatoes was very good. You also have an option of getting chicken instead of the state. They have theme nights where there’s other food Highlighted. Definitely going to come around and check them out!
