Denny's — Restaurant in Houston

I recently visited Denny's in Houston with my wife and baby and I have to say, it was one of the most disappointing restaurant experiences I've had in a long time. My wife has specific dietary requirements and she requested no cheese in her omelette, as well as jalapeno toppings. Unfortunately, her order was completely botched. Not only did her omelette arrive with cheese, but there were no jalapenos as requested. The food quality was also extremely poor, with salty chicken that was almost inedible, cold biscuits that seemed like they had been stored in a fridge for too long, and gravy that tasted like it had been sitting out for hours.

To make matters worse, our waitress seemed completely uninterested in correcting the mistakes in our order. We had to ask for jalapenos multiple times, and when we pointed out the cheese in the omelette, the waitress offered to replace it, but at that point, we were so disappointed with the food that we didn't even want to bother.

Perhaps the most frustrating part of the experience was the attitude of the waitress. She seemed more interested in pushing us to leave a tip, despite the fact that the food and service were both terrible. When we declined to leave a tip, she became visibly upset, which only added to our frustration.

Overall, this was an incredibly disappointing experience that left us feeling let down and unsatisfied. We were hoping for a nice breakfast out with our family, but instead, we were treated to low-quality food and poor service. It's a shame that a restaurant chain as large as Denny's could produce such poor-quality food and provide such poor service. I will definitely never be returning to this Denny's location again and would caution others to...

We hadn’t been to denny’s in years, we went yesterday because we were craving it, place was very empty when we arrived, maybe 3 tables at most, first impression when we entered the restaurant there was a Homeless sitting right in the entrance, waiter took us to our table, gave us our menus and left to get the drinks and the appetizers started, we go the boneless wings, when we unwrapped the silverware from the napkins, the forks had dry residue of food, we kept trying to locate our waiter to request a new set, but couldn’t, so we saw another waiter passing by and As I called him in to make my request he kept walking as if I was not talking to him, while waiting for our waiter out of nowhere I saw a BIG Roach walking on the seat where my husband was seating roach literally just walking there going to the corner of the seat, like nothing, at that point we felt so disgusted, my husband got up when up to the manager and told him we wanted to cancel our order and the reasons, manager didn’t even offered an apology as courtesy or anything he just literally said “Ok” walked to the kitchen told the cooks not to make our food anymore and from the kitchen yelled you good. It was the worse experience I’ve ever encountered at a Restaurant! Which is disappointing because Dennys is a Nostalgic place that everyone goes to cause of their good menus and we grew going yo Dennys it brings family memories, it is just sad how bad the downgrade on their service and quality. I went at 2 am Wednesday n there was no server upfront, at first some tall guy was there i thought he was waiting for server too, but then i said hi how r u, then he went to kitchen n never came back, i waited like half an hr, still nobody showed up, i could’t bare much so i decided to go inside anyways where the tables are, then i finally saw the two servers n a manager sitting n using phones, the manager saw me n approached me, i asked him are u open sarcastically knowing that there were some patrons inside like 2 tables were full, he then call the server n asked me for what kinda drink i want, the server was alright but at the end i told her that i waited by the reception half an hr, she told me that i was supposed to let them know n sometimes they get busy etc but only two tables were full at that time n they were on the phones the whole time. Even my grilled chicken was raw n uncooked. I even thought about not tipping but i thought for a second n realized they work on tips, my total was 20.45 or something like that n i gave her 25 n left, i am not going there anymore n totally not eating at Deny’s in my life, i felt like i was himiliated there waiting for servers. They were paid by the franchise to serve customers n there u go they were slacking their duties n didn’t care about customers, they didnt even care who came inside thru the door n went as i saw lots of non customers just came to use the bathroom, totally unsafe n reckless behaviour by the people...
