I stopped buying pasta and ravioli in grocery stores and only come here! The take-home pasta, ravioli, and sauces are excellent. All products are freshly made (you can see their full operation in the back) and refrigerated to be prepared at home.
Everything my husband and I have tried here has been absolutely delicious! All of their products are beyond fresh and the family running the business are very kind and helpful. I really like the spinach and cheese ravioli with the Alfredo sauce. But you cannot go wrong with any combination. I try to get something different every time. When I'm feeling ambitious, I will cook up some protein and veggies to go along. Keeping it simple works as well.
The noodles do not take long to cook and you do not want to overcook them. For noodles, it's 4-5 min in boiling water. For ravioli, it's a little longer, around 5-6 min. Ask for directions in the store to make sure you have the right times.
I also love that the store is conveniently located by TJ's. It makes my grocery shopping trip complete! They have a small parking lot in front of the store, which makes it quick and easy to pop into. The fridges are always stocked with their fresh pasta, ravioli, and sauces. Love,...
Read moreAll I can say about Fabio is WOW. This is the best Italian food you can have outside of Italy, which makes sense, since Fabio is from Sicily himself. He prepares the pastas and sauces for you and all you have to do is cook them, which doesn't take long at all! I think I've tried nearly every type of pasta he has and the sauces too. He has raviolis, lasagnas, noodles, and a variety of sauces. The amount of money it would cost to eat these dishes in restaurants is staggering, and they don't even taste as good as Fabio. I come here at least twice a month and will never stop because it takes me back to Italy, my favorite country and favorite cuisine. My personal favorites are spinach and four cheese ravioli and also the black squid ink pasta, both with the red sauce, but even better if you mix Fabio's italian herbs with the red sauce. All I can say is Fabio is the God of Italian food in...
Read moreI have never left a review for any restaurant I’ve ever been to in my 24 years of life and I do consider myself a bonafide foodie (though not an outspoken one), until now. I specifically learned how to do so in order to exclaim to the world how delicious this pasta is. I got some mushroom ravioli with the pesto earlier today and the sweetest man rang me up. I came home, made it (the way he gently recommended) and it was perfect. Time and time again I feel somehow disappointed the way pasta is in restaurants (sort of rubbery? the pasta itself is too firm or too soggy?) versus what I feel it should be.
It was amazing, plain and simple. I paid less than $16 for both and easily split between two people (and then some as far as the pesto goes), if you want a sweet date night in, with yourself or with the people you love, please go here and support this business.
Will 10/10 be...
