Jack in the Box — Restaurant in Houston

I have gone here a few times since moving to this area and usually have an issue but today - I’m not sure what his name is and I wish I would have asked- the gentleman working there around 5pm today was amazing. They only had 3 people working, 1 of which was training and the other a manager plus himself. This location had had no working AC since I’ve started coming a month ago. How he managed to have such a positive attitude is beyond me. He offered me a drink for having to wait inside in the heat. He was so sweet in conversation with my son and even had my son saying he wanted to come back because he was so nice. I see other reviews talking about service time and customer service but I don’t know any one who would come into work in a building that is 80+ degrees, In front of a hot grill all day, and not have to slow down to not overheat or get a bit frustrated. I feel HORRIBLE that they are working in those conditions and he still had such an amazing attitude about it. My major suggestion is to having cold air for your employees in this Houston heat and a raise for them having to have to adjust to working in those conditions. I don’t blame them for not having any motivation - I would want to be there either. That’s the only reason for my 3 star...

Well, where do I start? Ok, the workers here are polite. Unfortunately they aren't really on their game. The young lady who took my order was very new so I feel she gets somewhat of a pass. First I ordered the Teriyaki Bowl combo but when I asked for my drink I was told I only was charged for the Bowl and not the meal. So then the young lady charges me for an egg roll and a drink and asks for three dollars and some change more. Of course I wasn't about to pay for these items separately so they had to refund me my money and correctly charge me for the combo. Then when I finally get my order the egg roll is way overcooked and my Teriyaki Bowl is cold. I gave my order back and got a new egg roll properly cooked and a hot Teriyaki Bowl. Unfortunately I'm pretty sure they just microwaved my bowl because when I began to eat it the rice was just a stiff blob that turned to mush when I stirred it all up. But, this location isn't all bad. The lobby was pretty much clean as was the drink station although a bit outdated. The restroom was filthy though and the female manager walked in on me as I was urinating. She was looking for a mop to clean mud tracked in by a guest. I would look elsewhere for lunch if your near here and hungry. There isn't much else...

Never thought I’d b leaving a review for jack n the box but here we go! The fat Spanish boy that’s always in the window is VERY RUDE EVERYTIME I GO THERE he has an attitude always rolling his eyes doesn’t even try to extend his arm to hand food drinks money nothing! I ignore him EVERYTIME but tonight he pmo so bad! I gave him $11 my change was .42 he didn’t say a word! Just handed me my receipt… I ignored it no big deal.. I ordered jalapeño poppers he gave me 1 ranch I asked for an extra ranch HE ROLLED HIS EYES SLAMMED THE WINDOW came back and told me .27 I’m like for what… u still owe me .42 his response is I don’t have change ok well u say that!! Don’t just hand someone a receipt! And then u backdoor and charge me for ranch BECAUSE U MAD… he lucky I didn’t make him go in the safe for change! Something so small he literally went back and forth with me it doesn’t matter whether it’s morning noon or night he always in the window with a bad attitude I did not drag u by ur collar and tell u to fill out an application for jack n the box so take ur...
