Overall a good and affordable Indian street food establishment. Vegetable samosa bites looked nothing like the picture on the menu and was mostly dough. Probably would not order again. Vegan nuggets were okay. Prior to ordering we asked what it was exactly and the person said all we know is its made from plants. Okay lol. Masala fries were good with the right amount of seasoning. Now for the rolls. We had our heart set on the Paneer Tikka Roll but unfortunately they were out of paneer. Tried ordering 2 of the Potato Masala Egg Roll but were told there was only enough for one so got one of those and one Masala Aloo Roll. Both rolls were good and had a nice flavor. They gave us two gulab jamun balls for dessert on the house and we enjoyed them. We will be back to try the paneer. As far as parking...we went in the evening and most of nearby street parking were taken so we ended up parking in the garage. The normal rate is $6 but there was an 'event' so they charged $12. Not the most ideal and wished there was a way charge the regular rate for non event patrons. But hey,...
Read moreI recently visited Katti Roll Wala Restaurant and tried their Paneer Tikka Katti Rolls and Naan Pizza. While the Naan Pizza exceeded my expectations with its flavors and innovative twist, the Paneer Tikka Katti Rolls left much to be desired. The Naan Pizza was undoubtedly the highlight of the meal, offering a delightful fusion of Indian and Italian flavors. However, the same cannot be said for the Paneer Tikka Katti Rolls. Despite high hopes, the rolls fell flat in terms of flavor and texture. The paneer lacked seasoning and was disappointingly bland, while the roti failed to add any excitement to the dish. It felt like a missed opportunity to showcase the richness of Indian cuisine. While I can't speak for the non-vegetarian options, if you're in the mood for innovative Naan Pizza, and Other indian bowl options it's definitely...
Read moreWas at Houston for business trip. Called the shop for enquiry several times on pickup process but there was no response. Finally placed the order and started driving to the location to find it not there as per google maps. Called several times but no response. Finally parked the car by paying $6 and Finally found nestled in an unknown corner.
The billing was not fair as by default they deducted 20% tip. I placed the order, drove to the location, paid the parking and had bad experience but still they charged the tip.
Food was just ok. The wrap was not cooked, the way they packed, the sauce leaked at both package and made the kathi roll all wet and soggy. I asked my son to rate the food and he said I made better kathi roll at home and he will prefer that going forward.
Total very...
