Read moreUpdate 7/14/24 - the hot basil fried rice with tofu is now my favorite dish!! So glad I saved room for the mango and sticky rice dessert. It was nice, warm, and gooey. Just perfect!
Update 3/17/24 - in case it's not obvious already...I really like this place and want them to succeed. Today I ordered Uber Eats because I had a credit to use. Everything was packaged well and tasted very good. The temperature of the food was also on point. I finally ordered the mango and sticky rice and it did not disappoint! Next time I dine in I'll be sure to save room for it.
Update 2/18/24 - definitely our go to for Thai food in midtown now! Their weekday lunch specials are great and come with a spring roll and a cheese roll for a reasonable price. Have been back several times for dinner and highly recommend the Som Tam Thai - papaya salad (vegetarians request it without fish sauce), massaman curry, and pad woon sen noodles. The staff is always friendly and provide great service!
Came in for a weekend lunch and everything was great from the food to service. We ordered pad thai and pad kee mao (drunken noodles). Both were cooked to perfection (no overcooked bell peppers and onions) and well seasoned. The strawberry and blueberry lemonades with sparkling water were really good. The owner said since they are still in their soft opening the menu is a bit limited...we wanted soft summer rolls which was not available at the time. The owner and staff were friendly. Cute ambiance and unique seating in the middle of the restaurant. Parking can be a bit tricky since they share it with the busy restaurant next door. There's street parking though. We are happy to have a new Thai restaurant in our...
Read moreI’m not sure if the day I went was an off day but almost all of the food was inedible. The chicken satay was the only okay dish but even then the version we had does not match the other pictures online. The pad thai and massaman curry were two dishes that my friend and I frequent and they both tasted extremely off. My friend’s massaman curry tasted like soap and my pad thai just tasted like a completely different dish (no peanuts, no lime) and had a very strong off taste to it. We also got the spicy cheese puffs because this is similar to another thai appetizer we like at other thai restaurants but the only way I can describe the cheese is as spray cheese or the cheese you get in the packs with crackers from vending machines. My friend couldn’t even finish one. Lastly the mango sticky rice was what we were looking forward to the most and it was fairly disappointing. I don’t think you can call it mango sticky rice if you don’t use “sticky rice” (glutinous rice) so having just normal rice was disappointing but okay, the worst part was the rancid mango. Absolutely inedible. We were very excited that this would become a normal spot for us because the atmosphere was so great and the service was wonderful. I’m hoping this was an off day because the other...
