I have never posted a negative comment about any store or restaurant, but today I will. I went, yesterday Jan 1, with my girlfriend at about 12 noon. I ordered a combo "2c", the quarter pound deluxe combo and a "4d", the spicy chicken combo to dine in. The order was taken correctly and the receipt reflected the proper items and dinning status. So after waiting for what seemed a very long time, we received our order in a "to go" bag. When I went to the table and took the items out of the bag, I saw that I received 2 spicy chicken sandwiches. I was going to take one back because I do not like spicy foods but there was a large line and we had waited so long in the first place I decided to just eat the sandwich. I took 2 bites and simply hated it, so I took it and my receipt to the manager named "Eluvia" and asked to get the burger I ordered. She opened it and said I ate most of it and refused to replace it. Most of the sandwich was uneaten and whenI attempted to ask her to replace it (I was even ready to buy another burger) but she rudely interuped me and asked if I speak Spanish (I do but failed to see the relevance) and she said she is not replacing it. I decided not to spend another penny there for another burger. There are 2 major problems with that manager, 1st while the order taker was very polite and took the proper order, order was incorrect and the execution of the McDonald's way is obviously not working there, my dine in order was incorrect and the green (chicken) box is obviously not the same as the red burger box...should have been caught by the manager who set the order on the counter for pickup. 2nd, the poor customer service and rude attitude reflected by the "manager" was something I have never seen at a McDonald's before. Definitely not going back to the McDonald's on Eldredge Parkway in...
Read moreWe used the kiosk to place our order. This was simple enough to do. At the end leaving our order we are to take a table tent with a number and go sit at a table to wait for our order to be delivered. Besides the fact that no one greeted us when we came in, when our order was ready, they didn't bring it to our table, they just yelled out our number and left the tray on the counter! Again, no acknowledgement was forthcoming. The hashbrowns tasted like they'd been cooked in old oil! Then, when I took a sip of my large coffee, which I'd ordered with 4 creams and 2 sugars, it was just black coffee. The orange juice for the other meal was an upcharge of $1.19 but was very small. When I asked about the orange juice, I was told that they don't have kids size orange juice and that this one was regular size. As for my coffee, she said the machine wasn't working; but I saw her using for another customer! So, not only did she lie to me, she was rude and never once made me feel welcome as a customer; and not once were we greeted! I guess I shouldn't expect much from a McDonald's but customer service really is non-existent at this location. OH!! We also had a problem choosing a table to sit at because there were so many...
Read moreThis comment is for McDonald's Corp. At 10 am today, I used the drive-through. The manager was leaving the restaurant, and on her way to wherever, she decided to put herself between my car and the building (approximately 1.5 feet of space. She rudely injected herself between the transaction of the window employee, stopping the employee from handing my food out. The significant problem occurred when I finally got my food, I decided not to drive away as this person put themselves in a dangerous position between my SUV and the building. If I had driven away, there was a possibility that the rear of my vehicle could have pinned her. Once I got home, I called the restaurant and asked to speak to the manager and was told that the manager was not there? Seriously, there is no managerial supervision at the restaurant? These are the things that create lawsuits. This manager has zero situational awareness and only considers herself and her needs before safety. She is a liability and probably shouldn't be a manager. Imagine an employee getting hurt, and the testimony is that there was no manager...
