I went inside with my 14 year old son and we were ignored for about 15 minutes.
We ordered "honey barbecue" wings, but there was no honey in the barbecue.
my son ordered a pineapple and cheese medium pan pizza. The waitress said "pineapple and ham?" We both replied "No, pineapple!" When delivered the pizza it was pineapple and ham. We refused and asked for a pineapple pizza. When she took the pizza to the bar, she began a conversation with the manager. I could overhear her say "I read the order back to them and they wanted pineapple and ham." I've been walked up to them as they were speaking and informed them that my son has never eaten ham a single day of his life. That's why I know we did not order anything with Ham on it.
3a) later the manager delivered us a pineapple pizza, however it was a thin crust pizza which was not what we ordered.
I informed the manager that I did not want any money back, nor that I didn't want anyone to be reprimanded. But "my waitress has walked by me five times and never said a word." I also informed him that there was no sweetness on the hunny barbecue wings, and he said those are there "honey barbecue wings" The manager then informed me that he would be handling my ticket from here out. He did return and refilled my cup with water, which I appreciate it.
the manager had such an attitude that I had to say to him that "I don't understand why this is this is so difficult." Then I looked around and noticed that my son and I were the only African-American people in the bar with roughly 20 people in it. Then I turned back to the manager and said "now I understand."
after we completed our meal, we sat there for about 45 minutes to an hour and no one returned. I then asked another waitress if she could take our ticket so that we could pay for our meal. The young lady graciously took my credit card and cashed us out.
Needless to say this was a horrible experience. However I would like to go back to have the waitress that took our ticket. I believe she would give us great service, and I'd love to leave her a...
Read moreThe food is very tasty. The number of TVs and sports variety is great. We live nearby so we keep coming back despite the issues that outweigh the good.
The issues: The restrooms either have no soap, no paper towels, dispenser batteries are shot, no toilet paper, or as tonight, no soap and a toilet that won’t flush. There is a new waitress every time we show up, that’s on the owner, for real. Imagine fifteen TVs all showing the game of the day (amongst other games mixed in, mind you, they do have a lot of TVs) then imagine the volume of the big game is on MAX on more than one TV yet none of the TVs match the sound like a seventies Kung-Fu movie and the un-synced sound is now echoing because the volume is up on multiple TVs, none of which are on the same relay. OH! Then add in some shitty music to all this noise because some people on the other side want to listen to music!
It’s super loud, the sound system sucks, multiple high volume non-synced play-by-plays echoing throughout. We can usually last a max of an hour and a half before the annoyance of it all causes us to flee. If they spent some money on getting all the TVs synced along with adding a sound system that isn’t from the eighties, it would be a cool hangout. I think there is a very good reason the owner’s partner seems to hang out outside every time.
I would love to love this place, it’s the noise level and the echoes that make it really unbearable. Parking is also terrible, but that’s not anyone’s fault and the owner and employees do go out of their way to find out whose car is blocking someone when they want to leave. They get...
Read moreSo for starters when we got there nobody acknowledged we were standing there near the bar. Someone finally came over and asked how they could help and I stated we wanted to place an order to go I was in directed towards a waiter who did not exist on the floor. We finally got to place our order the lady that placed the order was very nice she recommended certain items on the sampler which we did get as well as two Philly cheesesteaks and supposedly a lasagna. I had to go back for the lasagna cause apparently she didn’t charge me for it nor did they make it.Before I could even try any of the food I went back to get the lasagna while waiting there who I thought was a manager wearing a green shirt was too busy flirting with women to actually see that there was a customer complaint. Upon arriving at home and actually tasting the food I was shocked considering they had a sign that said they were the best sports bar from Houston press. I’m telling you right now the samplers were disgusting it was less than typical bar food. The Philly cheesesteaks were decent. The lasagna was a very small portion. The food in the sampler were you pick four was dry and the flavor was not there the fried pickles were just OK they had spice and I really like that. I will never return here again. Especially when two people did not get to eat out of our group because it was so gross. I did not get pictures of the lasagna because the person who ate the lasagna said that it actually tasted good it was just small. There’s no way this...
