Read moreI don’t know where to begin everything was so amazing! We walked in and immediately we were seated our waiter was so nice and informative. We started off with rolls and drinks, my husband tried their Japanese imported beer and swears by it and I just got a Dr Pepper. I have no clue what the appetizer was but it was GOOD! We got the California roll, spider roll and a crunchy roll you could tell everything was just made and super fresh! When it came time to order our main meal we both got hibachi. I got the shrimp and my husband got the chicken they even gave us the option to make it spicy so we got a regular shrimp and spicy chicken. Our food came out fast they really wasted no time the onions and zucchini we’re perfectly cooked and the shrimp was so juicy and crispy at the same time I tried my husbands spicy chicken and his was crispy and juicy but with a little kick to it, the flavors blended so wonderfully together. While we were eating I noticed how amazing the staff were every time a party came in someone was right there to greet them and seat them immediately, the table next to us after they left the waitress immediately cleared it off and wiped everything down wasting no time at all! When it came time to finish our meal our waiter bagged our leftovers for us and we got mango ice cream while we waited for the food and bill I highly recommend the mango ice cream it was so rich and creamy but very light after a big meal. Overall our experience was 10/10 the staff, atmosphere, food and drinks were all so wonderful I definitely see us driving the 3 hours to Houston for another weekend getaway and making sure Osaka is guaranteed stop! We came up here for a football game but I feel like dinner was the highlight of...
Read moreIt's no brainer one of my top list sushi restaurant in H town. They have not yet failed me EVER. They are most popular for their big portion sushi pieces and sashimi, I feel like I got a great deal.
I always start my meal with their clam miso soup, seaweed salad is a must. I don't know if it's the portion of the seaweed or what, it makes me feel more chewy and fresh. LOL. Loves the free appetizer items shrimp tempura paddies and the dumplings. They put a lot of thought in it instead some cheaper items they gave out for free.
I always ask what's fresh that day, they usually have Uni, blue fin tuna and Alaskan salmon. Sashimi pieces are HUGE, and being cut very well, its soft, tender sometimes have some sweetness in it depend on how fresh it is. i like the crispiness in the Salmon skin hand roll, loves the spicy chopped scallop.
I feel like I can't stop talking about how TEXAS size their dishes are. LOL. Have you tried the big fried shrimp head from the Ama Ebi? It's delish! if you dare not to try it you are missing out. For $16.99 you can try their Hamachi kama which is the fish jaw, very healthy dish, lots fish oil in it. One of my favorite.
Sometimes in cold weather I would order their Nabiyaki Udon, soup is very flavorful, they might have used some chicken soup base with some seafood, add some of the spice powder, it's perfect.
I always end everything with the red bean and green tea ice cream with banana tempura. Even I tell myself every time order less it will be enough, but too many good items, have to try a little bit of everything.
Over all it's a must try Japanese...
