Slow Drip TX — Restaurant in Houston

Excellent beverages, except for the girl with the glasses. I went last year, and I told her I was ordering online, and waited some time and I then I checked on my order and she told me to tell her when I order online, and in my brain I'm thinking I just told her I was going to order online.

I really love the drinks. Next time I will see if I can order delivery, because her attitude and the way she spoke to me was not what I expected from previous experiences, the other employees are very kind. I don't know if she was having a bad day, or it was closed to closing time and maybe my presence annoyed her, but that's why customers go to coffee shops, to destress. I will try to come on a day when she is not here because I still love supporting small businesses.

P.S. I really wanted to come try their seasonal Gingerbread Oat, but I do not feel like interacting with her at all. It is the one in the video showcasing this new seasonal flavor.

Mind you I waited a while before even saying anything out of fear of the girl retaliating against me and sharing this review to the business Instagram stories. I don't mean to make any one feel less than, because all people have greatness in them. I just don't like to deal with individuals who act/interact that way with others.

🥹 everything about this place is special. From the warm greetings, to the simple yet special menu, to the wonderful flavors of the coffee shop. I come from a background as a coffee master at a Starbucks so when picked this place I was generally happy I did! The rich aroma of coffee when I first entered was so beautiful; the hints of cocoa & cinnamon opened my taste bud the moment I walked in. The barista who took my order was also very kind. We bonded over anime matsuri & she even made suggestions for me. I ended up ordering a brown sugar oatmilk latte and when I tell yall the LATTE QUALITY was AMAZING!!! 😍 it made the one from Starbucks seem C tier while this drink was S tier. The flavor was a perfect balance of sweet, spicy, & aromatic! Followed up by the taco that was so savory that it was fulfilling. 🥰 also wanna give big shoutout and recognition to the guy who was probably the owner for being so kind & great at delegation. I love that you followed up with tasks with your peers so respectfully & professionally ALL while still making drinks/food/connecting with guest. 💕 the best part about this place is that instead of calling out orders/names I actually saw the staff walking orders to people and thanking them.
