When I walked into the cafe, it was bustling with people constantly coming in and lining up. The place was packed! But, what really bugged me was how no coffee was being made even though they were taking orders left and right. They had two staff members on dutyâone seemed to be lost in some task at the back and the other was just tidying up. I mean, it's kind of ridiculous to wait more than 10 minutes for a coffee, especially when they could have whipped up several in that time. It was so slow that people started checking the counter to see what the hold-up was with their coffee. It felt like they took about seven orders without making a single cup.
I understand there were only two employees and one seemed pretty new, but it was frustrating not seeing any backup or quicker service. I was this close to walking out without my coffee due to the wait. On a brighter note, their Macaron Mondays offerâget three regulars and snag one freeâis a cool deal, although they donât have any bulk discounts like a 6 or 12 box deal.
The staff was friendly, and the coffee was tasty once I finally got my iced caramel macchiato. Plus, they have a private parking lot, which is a nice convenience. But really, they need to either staff up or streamline their process because for folks like me who just want to grab their coffee and go, the current setup...
Read moreVisually this is a nice restaurant. Unfortunately, when I stopped by on the evening of 25 May 2025, the service was very poor. The cashier seemed to be the only remaining server and his attitude and impatience were very unprofessional. I arrived at 8:30 PM and the restaurant was scheduled to close at 9:00 PM. I politely asked if coffee was still an option this close to closing time. Instead of a simple "yes" or "unfortunately we have finished brewing for the evening" I got the nastiest, most rude stare followed by an impatient sigh from the cashier who was more interested in being on his cell phone than dealing with a paying customer during working hours. He then asked "what do you want?" as if to say......coffee is still an option but it's very inconveniencing for me. I decided to forgo fresh brew since it seemed like it was a tall order for a restaurant that is themed as a coffee shop.
I then asked about the price of one of the already prepared bottled, cold coffees. With a condescending attitude the employee replied $100.00. I guess asking the price of a product sold in the store was too much to merit a simple answer.
All in all, this was one of the most rude customer service experiences I've been on the receiving end of in...
Read moreI live across the street from this location and I order coffee here a few times a week before work. I always place my order online then go pick it up at the store. Everyone at this location is super nice & Iâve never had any issues until my last 3 visits. There is a young lady who Iâm guessing is new because I havenât seen her until recently. I picked up my order on Oct 27th around 10:50am and she had on a black shirt with a jacket over it and a hat with a low bun. The 1st & 2nd visit, as Im there waiting, she kept walking by just blatantly ignoring me until I eventually had to say something to her to even get acknowledgement that Iâm standing there waiting while my order is just sitting there. This last visit, after I had been waiting awhile she walks up to the register and just stood there and she did not greet me or even speak. I said to her âhello, I have a pick up orderâ and she turned around grabbed my order & handed it to me. During this whole exchange she still did not say one word. It is very rude. No âhelloâ or âIâll be with you shortlyâ. My boyfriend recently placed an order and she did the same thing to him. I will not be returning here to spend $9 on a small matcha just to be treated like...
