I work for a company where I may have to work from multiple store locations on a week-to-week basis. I ordered from this location, and have done so multiple times before, because the store I am working from this morning is located less than a mile away. On my previous visits I have received great service. I cannot say the same about my visit on this morning. I ordered a grande Iced Peach Green Tea Lemonade with five pumps of liquid cane sugar. If anyone were to browse through my purchase history they would see that I order the same three drinks 90 to 95% of the time, so I know how they’re suppose to taste. Upon receiving my drink I noticed that the color was paler than I know it to be and there wasn’t any foam at the top. Once I did a taste test, there was absolutely no liquid cane sugar. The drink was actually bitter. I informed the associate, Aleyah (I may be spelling this wrong), that I didn’t taste any liquid cane sugar and her response was, “Yes it is! You said five pumps, I mean how many more do you want?” I was taken aback because there was DEFINITELY attitude in her tone and I had never received this type of service before. I asked for five more pumps and she pumped them in a separate cup that was nearly slammed on the counter. I then asked for the manager, who did apologize and offer to remake my drink (which was done perfectly). Wanted a decaf iced coffee and after waiting without being greeted by any of the 3 people behind the counter, none of whom appeared to be doing anything more than organizing(maybe I'm wrong, idk)(and there were more in the back), when I finally was received I was told they didn't carry this, only decaf Americano. I've ordered this item twice from this location before as well as others and I told him as much, and then he switches from saying this isn't sold at all to just this location doesn't carry this. He then proceeds to tell me I did not get decaf those other times, and repeated it again after I told him if I drink caffeine at 3pm I don't sleep. I'm not a rude person, but I'm not going to be gaslit by anybody and I stood my ground. I tried multiple times to say it's fine, I just want my sandwich and he still felt the need to squeeze in the last word and continue to argue. I don't care if you don't want to do your job, but don't lie to me and don't keep arguing with me if I try to end the argument cuz that's not worth my time or energy. Read moreToday, one day before Christmas, my dog and I were walking home when we got caught in a sudden downpour. We ran into Starbucks to find shelter and ordered my usual drink and a pup cup for my 12-pound Pomeranian, who is in training. My dog barked softly twice out of excitement and then stayed completely quiet. The two other customers didn’t seem to mind at all. Two out of the three staff members were incredibly rude. They insisted we leave immediately, claiming the store doesn’t allow a ‘barking dog.’ When I explained that we were walking home, had no car to hide in, and there was no other shelter since their outdoor seating was already closed, they didn’t care at all. They completely dismissed the situation without any empathy or understanding. The third staff member remained silent, which made the experience even more uncomfortable. We left right away and ended up on the patio of a store across the street, looking back at Starbucks in the rain. Here’s a picture of us right across from the store after being treated so poorly.
