Bar Madonna — Restaurant in Houston

We came in on a Sunday evening and were able to snag a cute little corner table in Bar Madonna immediately. The space could not be more charming. The interior feels like production design from a cinema set. The carefully curated antiques + ambience create a perfect Parisian/New Orleans vibe. It really feels like being in a different city. I was excited to see the excellent job they’ve done revitalizing the historic house.

My partner and I decided to go here on a whim and so happy that we did! The atmosphere is NOLA inspired and as someone who has family is from NOLA and visits every year that definitely feels like you've been transported into the NOLA's famous Garden District. The drinks were delicious. I had the Pimms Cup which had a seasonal twist with blueberry + cinnamon and it was very good! This definitely is more of a relaxing and classy experience for those who love to be surrounded by elegant decor. Stunning home, great ambience, amazing service, fun and tasty drinks. Thank you Cesar and Max for the drink recommendations and all around great time! They made our experience so great. We got the Yellow, the scofflaw, and the sinlaw and all were unique yet classic. They also do off menu drinks like espresso martinis and aperol spritzes!

Only weird thing is the seating (it’s first come first serve choose your own seats. So if you want to wait for a table to clear you have to linger). They’ve solved this with some nice outdoor seating while you wait for an indoor table to open up. We will be back...
