Horrible service at the bar. Tall black female bartender..was super loud..yapping the entire time about her this her that..Got drinks but forgot to put in my food order then picked up her purse and left for the night. Absolutely ZERO FOCUS. Talking about her make up, her bargain hunting..her this her that...After waiting for over an hour to get a simple appetizer. Told other waiter to cancel order. He was very apologetic and said he would give me a discount if I "paid cash." Told him I didnt want a discount. My meal was ruined. He insisted so I explained I would charge to the room. He then said..in that case "I cannot give you a discount." I asked him why not..he stated thats just how it is..as he "could not approve a courtesy discount if it was charged to room only if I "pay cash." I believe the gentleman was being honest but it sounds sketchy and at best its a huge procedural flaw in a Marriott hotel. When asked about manager being able to approve, He said NO MANAGER AVAILABLE to approve. Unacceptable.Place is a DISASTER. No wonder this Marriott feels like a ghost town. Read moreMy daughter and I stopped in because it was in the hotel that our convention was being held at. It looks really nice and I like the atmosphere, and that is about it. It was FREEZING in the restaurant which made our 25 minute wait for our food feel like an hour. Our waitress was pretty much absent for the majority of our visit once she brought our drinks, we visited at 5 pm on a Sunday and it didn't seem super busy. My daughter's food was great, she ordered a burger and fries. I ordered the nachos and for $20 I expected way more that what I actually got. What I got was MAYBE worth $7 at best. The guacamole was the best part of them, the Pico was just okay but the thing I can not ignore nor forgive, the thing that single handedly runied the nachos was the LUKE WARM CHEESE that tasted like it came from a can. The servers are very friendly but the service is extremely slow, expect at least an hour even for 1 person, the food always comes out bad as well.
