Have eaten Jersey Mike's several times. Nothing negative, but nothing positive either besides the food. Service has typically been neutral. Let me say I worked in the food industry for years. So I can understand what it takes to bring next level service along with digging deep when you need to. We came in at just after 8:30 pm. I walked up to the counter and said I'm sorry that this is in the last half hour (was going to leave a good tip.) I asked for a #55. 1 sandwich. The person taking my order kind of made a discontented look at me and then told the person on the grill, who then scoffed. The person taking the order said we were just cleaning the grills and told the person on the grill again that there was an order that required it. That person then looks at me and then at the other employee and goes, "Are you serious?" Along with other words I couldn't understand. (I understood that it may have been an inconvenience to make a sandwich, but to make the customer feel like that and to that extreme...should NEVER happen.) The person taking the order then asked me to change my order. I said ok as I couldn't believe that it was becoming this large of an ordeal. I have taken orders a minute before store closes. That's income for the business and the job you hold that you get paid for. I finally said I don't need to deal with this and let them know they're open until 9 pm. And left. I will not be back to Jersey Mike's and will make sure my sphere of influence isn't as well. Absolutely absurd. When I got back to my car, my son asked me what happened because they were giving me so many dirty looks on the way out. Hopefully, the people in charge are more diligent with how they train their staff in the future. Read moreFrom one service worker to another, here is some feedback. I am from MN and usually go to the locations out there about once a year. I have only ever had good experiences prior to the day I visited this store. I ordered two vegetarian cheesesteak sandwiches. To start, they were out of half the veggies on the menu which is by no means the fault of the employees but this was still annoying. When we received the food, the sandwiches were stone cold. The cheese was not melted and all of the vegetables were literally raw. We went up to the counter asking if they could remake sandwiches, as we assumed we were receiving a HOT veggie cheesesteak sandwich, instead we were told by staff that “the cheese does not melt all the way on the grill. We don’t have a microwave.” ? At that point we realized they do not know how to cook as they only had our food on the grill for less than 90 seconds instead of actually cooking it thoroughly. Usually when I visit Jersey mikes, we wait 7-10 min for our food. I do not mind waiting a few extra minutes if that means our food will come out as expected, and throughly cooked. Being in the service industry myself, I have one piece of advice and that is instead of justifying your mistakes, try to find a way to get to a solution that has customer feeling happy. Read moreThe food is delicious! However the customer service at this location is lacking. The store closed at 9 pm. We walked in well before 9, enough time to order and get out by close. We ordered 2 warm subs, 1 cold sub, and a kids cold sub. While filling our drinks waiting for the warm subs, the younger guy that had made the warm subs walked them over to us. When he handed us the subs, he commented, “We close in 3 minutes. Next time, please bring a family in sooner, not right before we close.” Last time I checked, when you close at 9 that means 9! We walked out of the place at 8:55. As we sat in the car, the same guy walked out and locked the door at 8:56. It was very rude of him to tell us to come earlier, especially when we were actually out of the store before closing time!!
