Dunkin' — Restaurant in Huntsville

I have been a daily customer at this location for years. Today was my last day. I NEVER do reviews or surveys but I'm making the exception today. Over the last two months the manager and workers have shown that they cannot handle the small crowd they have. The drive thru is always backed out into the road so I always go in. Today the line inside was backed up to the door with people spread out for the social distancing. The manager screamed at several of us to go stand outside. Not asked, screamed. Like we had ignored a previous request. That's fine to tell or ask people to stay outside but how she handled it is not how you treat customers. I can't imagine anyone handing these people money after being yelled at. Disappointed in myself for not getting her name. Oh well. No stars although I am forced to give even one just to post. Would not recommend. Unsubscribe. Edit 02-23-23; Well, I've eased back into going after a two year absence and it has been just ok, neither good nor bad for a month or so. For the last couple of weeks I've been told there are no muffins due to the fact that they don't have a pan to bake them. REALLY?!?!? LOL! Can I donate a few pans? Anyways, I went inside this morning only to be ignored several minutes while standing at the counter. There were several (5-6) employees present with no other customers inside. Only the drive thru was active. All but maybe one of the employees were talking very loud about a customer that had just left that apparently complained about something. At the top of her voice one employee starts screaming "DAS A LIE! DAS A LIE! WHAT ELSE SHE SAY??" Hey Store Owner; Really great impression your employees are setting. So then the kid that finally came and stood at the register stood there without saying a word I guess waiting for me to give my order. Painful experience. Store Owner; educate/teach your employees how to interact with paying customers. I wish the lady that was was being accused of lying could have heard that. No telling what they had to say about me but I couldn't care less. Lets try Sonic for a while. See you in a couple years DD. Again 2 years later no stars do not recommend unsubscribe.

Edit #2; today I went thru the drive thru and wow what a difference. Never seen the drive thru service so fast and friendly. Good job whoever is responsible for this! 4 stars today and will update as...

This Dunkin is awful. The owner needs to crawl out of their hole and do some serious work. They’re constantly out of things, which tells me poor management or poor budgeting by the owner. The food and drinks are so inconsistent, you’re going to get something that tastes different even if you order the same thing everyday. The employees I’ve encountered here don’t know what the word “friendly” means, and they act like your business is an inconvenience to them. Again, this is a result of poor management and poor training.

Today was my last straw with this Dunkin. I placed an order on Door Dash so me and my kids could have some breakfast. I ordered a muffin, a Boston crème donut, a sausage egg and cheese croissant with an extra sausage, two orders of hashbrowns, omelette bites, and a coffee. My door dasher called and said they’re out of all muffins and Boston crème donuts. Okay whatever, I selected two other donuts to replace those items. She then texts me a few minutes later saying they “found” a muffin. Which likeeee, whatttt?! How do you FIND a muffin? lol. They gave me the muffin and let me keep both donuts. Cool, that’s fine. Fast forward to my order actually arriving. Now I knowww that when you order door dash from Dunkin, everything including my drink should be in a sealed bag. (I’m sure they were out of those 🙄). Not only did I just not get my omelette bites at all, but my sausage egg and cheese croissant didn’t have the extra sausage. Also my hashbrowns literally looked like they were rolled into a ball and shoved in the little wrapper. For $50 on this order I would expect it to be treated with more care.

But again, extremely poor management is leaving their customers to be the ones getting the short end of the stick. And looking at the other reviews of this Dunkin, it seems I’m not the only one feeling this way. Something has got to change or this location won’t survive. Period. I guess I’ll start visiting Starbucks which is LITERALLY a few doors away from this location....

It's hard for me to leave a 3 star review. I don't give bad reviews, (not that a 3 is bad but it's not good either). I prefer not to give a review at all... unless it's absolutely terrible, 'cause like mama used to say, "... if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all."

Let me just say, I love Dunkin Donuts. The Bavarian Creme is my all time favorite donut, period. It's a sign of the times we are in now. And as a former (very long time ago) fast food worker, I understand that the drive through has priority, but 'you' don't leave the folks standing in your lobby waiting over 10 minutes to order and have 6 people working the drive-through. You assign somebody to work the front counter.

Also, this particular location (Memorial Pkwy NW) doesn't label their donuts and the young, newer kids working there don't know exactly what they (all the donut flavors) are. And I always find myself educating them on what a Bavarian cream donut is... no matter how many times they say they "know what I'm talking about" and No, it's not a "Boston cream" (donut) or icing-filled donut...which is always their first answer.

However, instead of a chocolate glaze topping, the Bavarian Kreme is tossed in powdered sugar. Bavarian Kreme filling was created to resemble the traditional Boston Kreme filling for a cake.]

This location and the Jones Valley location typically don't keep the Bavarian creams in stock but today they did... albeit with a little age on them, but they taste like heaven!

Bought a dozen (variety) for the office. Dunkin always has the best selection...and their Coffee is the Best!

And they always do special donuts for...
