Penn Station East Coast Subs — Restaurant in Indiana

We decided to give this place a try since we were in the area. The first thing we noticed was how very little meat was on the sandwiches we ordered. We ordered a Ruben and a Cheesesteak.

The flavor was good on both sandwiches though there was so little meat I questioned the price of the sandwiches.

The Ruben tasted like a Rueben but the slice of meat on there was hard to bite through.

The cheesesteak was the best of the two but highly lacking in meat and mushrooms.

Not sure why they are so stingy with the middle part of the sandwiches.

We had an ample amount of fries and they were made fresh.

The staff was friendly and attentive.

The store itself was under some remodeling at the time we were there so it didn’t look all that great and the door was left open on a pretty chilly day.

Overall our experience was mediocre and I can’t say that I would eat there again unless they start putting more meat on...

I absolutely love Penn Stations Philly Cheesesteak, but this is about the 3rd time this same thing has happened. My husband and I both get Philly Cheesesteaks, he gets banana peppers and spicy mustard on his and I get onions, mushrooms and green peppers on mine & no Mayo or mustard. But like I said this is about the fourth time this has happened, I get home and I have everything on my sandwich that I ordered plus the same toppings that my husband ordered. His was right. I would take it back, don’t have a problem with doing that except with your store I live about 25 minutes away. Plus I even checked the paper that they tape on the side of sandwich before I left and it was right. They just added what they wanted. I am very disappointed with Penn Station right now. Plus you all aren’t that cheap for the employees to screw up...

Do not ever go to this place if you are in a wheelchair they do not accommodate disabled individuals or disabled veterans even though I told them that I was handicapped in a wheelchair and I was sitting right outside the store they wouldn't answer their telephone it kept going to the fax machine they only answered the phone after I drove off and I told him to screw themselves that I was going somewhere else to get my order after they told me that they would not under any circumstances take my order they told the woman that I asked you to go back in and have them come out and take my order they told her a big flat no no ifs ands or buts it was a big flat no do not ever go to this place and expect to get courteous service from the employees because they don't know the meaning of the word...
