Quiznos — Restaurant in Indiana

My wife and I came to the nearby theatre to see a movie and she wanted to stop at this Quizno's for dinner after the movie. She grew up in New Albany and used to go to this location a lot when she was younger but it was my first time to this location and also my first visit to a Quizno's in close to 10 years.

We arrived about 30 minutes before closing time which is a risk at a lot of places because most are run by employees just working for a pay check and who often don't have much motivation or interest in truly serving the customer, espcially someone coming in close to closing time.

Fortunately for us, that was not our experience at all. Not having been to this restaurant in a while my wife and I both took a few minutes longer than usual to familiarize ourselves with the current menu and had several questions for the man helping us. He was extremely helpful and very kind to us.

We ended us ordering a 12" sandwich to split and he volunteered to dress and wrap each half separately charging us for the 12" price instead of two 6" sandwiches which was very considerate of him and made a very definite positive impact on us.

Toward the end of the transaction we learned that he was the owner and had been the owner of that location for a number of years...15 or so if I remember correctly.

In the end, it was an extremely pleasant experience for my wife and I and we'll definitely eat here again at some point in the future.

Got the Angus Steak Sub & Mesquite Chicken, first time eating here in about 10yrs. Great app, great clean inside, great workers, and sub itself ‘looked great’. However tasted flavorless, non-seasoned, basic looking meat especially the chicken, and was a genuine disappointment. Will have my Gf give their Deli subs a try in the future, but I disliked the subs all around in terms of their taste.

After eating a loaded meat/peppers/cheese/etc Big Kahuna Philly from Jersey Mike’s last night full of flavor and quality… This was like polar opposite. I hope they add some seasoning options & upgrade some & improve the Zesty & Ranch sauces(ranch was low flavor, mayo-like) even if it means $1-2more per sub. Portion was semi-acceptable though.

Hey, maybe it’s me and my taste buds cause they have a 4.7/5 rating, but I rarely am disappointed or grossed out at places, I’m usually neutral or happy with my experiences. So this one was disappointing as I truly wanted to have a new place to eat on occasion. Oh well, thanks...

Just bought a house in the area and was THRILLED to find out I live close to not just this location but any quiznos. They have been disappearing in the last 15 years slowly and I, myself, have not had quiznos in 5-6 years. It is a sandwich place I grew up on literally and This location is nothing short of all I have expected. Have ate there 3 times in one week on learning of living close to this location and I have to say it has outweighed any expectations and has brought me back to my internal food happiness. I'll be a customer for life as long as these doors are open. My sandwich has always been fresh, never made incorrectly and I love that they still do the salad bar of sauces and extras for free.
