We went there between baseball games and the employee was extremely rude. He thought he was being funny with his comments, and at first we kind of joked along with him, but he increasingly got worse as we were there. My son asked to have his sub toasted and the guy mumbled something. We were distracted talking with the customer head of us that we didn't notice he didn't toast the sub. He tried bagging our sub up with the customer in front of us. We told him we weren't together and he acted inconvenienced and took ours out and shoved it in another bag. There was no place to sit inside so when we got to the car my son got his sub out, which was a pizza sub on flatbread, and it was ice cold. He took it back inside and asked the guy to toast it and he refused saying I won't toast that. My son said every other subway does and his response was "well I won't". My son came back out and told me what happened. I took it inside and waited while he was helping someone else. He stopped and asked what I needed so I asked him if he would at least put it in the microwave for a few seconds. He acted angry and threw it in the microwave for 2 minutes saying I don't toast those because it makes the bread hard. Um yeah that's what happens to bread when you toast it .. While it was microwaving and he was making another customer's sub I said sorry my son won't eat it ice cold. The guy then proceeded to pretend like he had my kid in front of him and was hitting him upside the head with hand gestures. After a minute I asked him if he could at least open the door of the microwave because it was probably warm enough and he wouldn't, said he was making other subs for the customers in front of me. I get that, but it doesn't take a second to reach behind you and open the door to stop it. By the time the 2 minutes were over he got the scorching hot sub out of the microwave and handed it to me. I had grabbed handfuls of napkins because I knew it would be extremely hot and he would do that based on his attitude, and it was and he did. I know, I asked for it to be warmed up, but that was extreme when he could have just popped it in the toaster to begin with but refused. As I was leaving he started making smart remarks about people like us who spend money on baseball. We will never go back to...
Read moreI arrived at Subway (3008 Charlestown Crossing Way) on Wednesday, March 1, 2023 around 8:00PM. When I arrived at the restaurant there was one female employee behind the counter. There was only one customer (young male) in front of me. When I walked in the employee had just finished making the young mans first sandwich and was about to start on his second sandwich. The second sandwich was for the young mans mom. This sandwich took about 20-25 minutes to make. During the process of sandwich #2 the customer said he wasn't sure what all his mom wanted on her sandwich. Instead of stepping out of line, the employee told the customer to call his mother. This would have been ok but this continued on and on. The customer in front of me had to call his mother multiple times, and text her multiple times to get the information needed to make sandwich number 2. After the employee completed the sandwich's she packed them up and took the young mans payment. At this point, I had been waiting in line for around 30 minutes. Right when I though I would actually get to order my food for my wife, my four kids, and myself, the employee said that she had to get started on a large pick up order and that it would be awhile. She said I am more than welcome to wait but that the store was going to close at 9PM. I can't believe that online orders take priority over in store customers. To me, online orders should be completed by another employee or when there are no customers waiting. I also feel like the employee should have told me upfront when I first walked in that she would not be taking my order until she finished another to go order. Its not like she didn't have time to tell me while the other customer was on the phone. If the employee had simply said to me when I first walked in, "i have to do a to go order after this customer in front of you and it may be awhile" i could have saved myself 30 minutes of waiting for food I would never get to order. Very poor...
Read moreI've just had the best Subway experience ever!! Traveling and in need of something fast and easy. With a get it and go frame of mind, I stop in at this Subway. I'm greeted by such friendly staff, like they were just so happy to see me! I start to order my sandwich, a subway club is my usual go to. So, the manager that explained this is now newly her store, suggested the Great Garlic. I usually go cold sandwich and this is a hot one. Against better judgement, I'm a risk taker so I went for it. I'm so glad I did!! I get my fave begins added to it and I ate every last bite. Soooo tasty!! The bread was so fresh, the vegi's crisp and fresh, the whole sandwich was just awesome. So now let me get back to the atmosphere. After being greeted as soon as I walk in, then the helpful suggested sales that helped me step outside my comfort zone, the manager and employee, (I believe his name was Cliff) talked to me the whole time they were putting my sandwich together, by the time it was finished I felt like I've known them forever. So my grab n go turned into a sit down, slow down, enjoy my eat and continued to talk to these awesome people until I was finished, and ready to get back on the road. It was an experience to title STOP AND SMELL THE ROSES EVERY NOW N THEN. Thank you guys so much. You have restored my faith in Subway 100%. I think on my way back through, I will stop back in to say goodbye, and of course have another sandwich. Lol Thanks again. Keep up the great customer service. I hope Subway knows what they have in you. You represent wonderfully....
