Ugh the customer service! The food was okay, 3 stars worth but the customer service was abysmal. I dined with my 3 sons & mother on a Friday night. I ordered two kids meals & my 3rd son I told the waiter “He just wants 2 bean & cheese burritos. That’s it”. He’s very picky and refused anything else just beans & just cheese. The kids meals I ordered for my other two sons were also just bean & cheese burritos but they also came with rice & side of beans for less than $7. My son received two of the same size burritos his brothers received without rice & beans but they charged us almost $15? Why would you charge more for less food? On the adult menu you can order burritos Mexicanos which is 2 burritos with beef or chicken & beans & sour cream & lettuce & tomatoes & queso for $10.95!! I’m confused? The manager’s explanation was, “well people pay that a la carte price all the time and never say anything so??” To which I responded, “you don’t even have an a la carte price list on this menu!” She agreed and said “yes you’re right..” So why is it more expensive to feed my visibly child age son almost $15 for two barely anything burritos but you can get two with meat and cheese and toppings that included sour cream & queso for $10.95?? The obvious thing to do as a server myself is to ring it up as burrito Mexicanos if anything and just say only bean & cheese just to make the pricing make since for the child. I would never want to charge my guest more for less? I do this everyday for my customers! They’ll tell me what they want & I’ll tell them the best way to do that or just do it myself since I’m obviously the expert at the restaurant I’m working at and wouldn’t expect the customer just to know what or how to order especially when there’s not even an a la carte menu! If you’re going to charge outrageous a la carte prices for children or even adults, YOU NEED TO HAVE YOUR A LA CARTE PRICES POSTED ON YOUR MENU LIKE EVERY OTHER MEXICAN RESTAURANT IN YOUR CITY! Which is normally less than $10, check every Mexican restaurant around Indianapolis.. my mothers large burrito with 3 meats & all the toppings was...

This location was what made us fall in love with Lucianas to begin with. We started going to the Greenwood location because it's closer to our house. The quality is far from this location, and the last 3 of 4 visits were dreadful. So, we decided to drive to this location this past Saturday. Spent $25 in gas to drive up there, and sit down for 10 minutes and not have one single person come to our table. It was 5:15 during a Saturday evening, and instead of taking care of the customers, we watched several servers stand around playing, watched one guy with several tables standing around the corner from our booth talking on his cell phone, etc. We finally got up and left, but first we did respectfully let the hostess know that no one ever came. We never saw a manager either. With all due respect, we have wated a lot of time and money on a place that used to be our favorite go to spot because they set such a high level of expectations, but in the last 6 months it seems as if all locations have loosened up and decided not to hold themselves accountable. This is how restaurants die, and it's very sad to see what was an amazing place, lose it's vision instead. I gave them 3 stars because I can't give them just 1. I feel if they can focus on their vision and get their servers off of their cell phones while guests are in the building, then they can be great again. We were used to seeing the servers at the Greenwood location play on their phones and doing nothing, but this past Saturday we were shocked to see the standards drop so low for the 82nd Street location, which we just praised weeks ago. It seems as if someone is literally trying to lower the value of...
Read moreThe food was mediocre and not spiced at all. Got the enchiladas (cheese and bean). It wasn't flavorful, not spicy as advertised. It tasted like a tortilla covered in sauce lacking seasoning with no proper flavoring at all. The sauce tasted almost like liquid cilantro, but it was definitely a red sauce.
It took us over 15 minutes of waiting to see our waitress again and get our check... I just want to escape this blackhole of pathetic attempts at flavorful food.
Of more note was our waitress. My friend and I each ordered a strawberry Margarita (her a 27 ounce and me a 16 ounce). She brought me a 27 ounce strawberry and my friend a 16 ounce regular... when we pointed this out, she smiled and congratulated me on my free alcohol, then argued with my friend about the fact she even ordered strawberry...
I asked her to fix it and I apologized for the extra trouble, so she said yes and brought me an extra glass (empty) to share the one strawberry. I finally just asked her to bring us what we ordered and repeated what we asked for. We finally got our order.
So, onto the margaritas themselves... I taste 0 strawberry! Pretty good for the price though!
My buddy got fajitas... his description was that it tasted like it was boiled and then fried after. Every bite tasted the same, and the meat in the fajitas was obviously fried...
Overall, mediocre food, shifty service, and coming from me (I've had authentic Mexican and have had texmex while living in Dallas), it is not worth the money at. All. Google how to make the items on the menu. You can make significantly...
