Delightful East meets West atmosphere with Arabic influence and authentic coffee, as some other reviews complained I learned from other sources that leaving grounds at the bottom of the cup is a signature touch. Thankfully I was able to drink all of my easy cardamom latte, tasty and full of simple flavor yet surprisingly expensive, I suppose this smug side of Indy rivals Keystone and Fishers without trying. Had the same sticker shock across the street a couple weeks ago! I'll never understand how syrups pumped from a plastic bottle add up so fast with coffee. Parking is odd but again was thankful to have a block away free street. The one safd was very friendly and walked me through the menus, almost did a chai but they seem too sweet everywhere I go lately. Mariam Coffee in Broad Ripple offers a charming modern ambiance. The newly furnished chairs and tables, each featuring the Mariam Coffee name, add a stylish touch. I enjoyed an iced Turkish coffee, which had the authentic Turkish coffee flavor I was hoping for. The mojito was also delightful, packed with flavor.

The staff were incredibly helpful and inviting, enhancing the overall experience. Parking is a bit of a challenge as it's all street parking with no free options, but the classic Broad Ripple area adds to the café's appeal.

Stopped in Saturday morning. The person working the counter was super friendly and helpful. The sun is so incredibly bright coming in the large windows that they might really want to invest in some tinted shades over the window. Probably won't come back on a hot morning again for that reason if we want to eat in. I had a pumpkin cardamom late which tasted great but I was spitting out cardamom seed the whole time! She ground the seed somehow and it was in several chunks and pieces in my coffee. I'm having a hard time believing this was the correct way to make it but she said it was when I showed her. Will definitely try something else next time. I can't find a way to message...
