Donāt go here if you plan on using the mobile app. Just a HUGE fyi for people. We ordered lunch (at 3:45am) as thatās what the app was showing us to order, we pulled up at 3:55 to pick up our order. And were told that they are only serving breakfast at that time. So we drive off, come back home I go on the app to try and get a refund. The app has no way to contact anyone and says for refunds that you need to contact the store you went to. So I call them because Iām not going to drive back and forth all morning. When I call, the first manager I speak to is extremely rude, and keeps cutting me off as Iām trying to explain our situation, and telling me that they started breakfast at 3am, even though online it says they donāt start breakfast til 4, and the mobile app still shows no breakfast options. So I hang up and call again, thank god I get a different manager this time. This manager tells me that since they are a franchise they have āno affiliationā with the mobile app and canāt do a refund for us. And when I tell him that the app says to go through them, he says I need to wait and call back in the morning when their GM is there and that MAYBE they can help me, but heās heard of people never getting their money back from this. And when I ask what time the GM will be there āwell, um, I think around 10 or 11 maybe.ā So. Not the first bad experience Iāve had at this McDonaldās, but it will surely be the last. When I'm ordering at the speaker I specifically ask for my sauces, mayo & salt packets, the person always says "I'll make sure its all in your bag". It never fails cause I'm always missing something or everything I asked for at the speaker cause they want you to tell them what extra sauces you want before & I figure it would save your employees some steps & frustration.
I tell them I have a coupon to scan on my phone at the speaker, I always get a reply like "they will take that at the first window" & the past 5 times now they never ask for my code/scan code at the first window. I calculated the amount for the past week & I'd actually would have saved on the coupons & it comes out to $12.ā°ā°. So shift manager's & general manager please train your old & new employees to make sure they ask the costumers for the coupon code. I always have a car full of kids talking & the rude people at the window asking for money so I easily forget. Twice I brought it up that they didn't get my coupon code after the people cashed me out, there reply is "we can't do anything about it now". So how messed up is that? I know when employees or former employees use the McDonald's app with a coupon it isn't forgotten about so why are the costumers even using the app if this location doesn't care to ask like they should?!?!

I realize it's a novelty item that comes out for a few weeks every year, but I can go to Applebee's and spend $13 on a meal and sit down in a more pleasant atmosphere.
Today I ordered a chicken Big Mac large. The fries, as usual were room temperature and halfway filled, and the Chicken Big Mac was room temperature as well, almost as if they had it premade and they just threw a bunch of pickles on there as extra like I requested. When I went to the first drive-thru window, the girl didn't smile and greet me like she's supposed to. Instead she just held out her hand waiting for my card.
Once I got to the second drive-thru window, the person, or whatever it was painted me my food. Didn't say a word. Didn't say have a good day, Hi how are you doing, nothing.
Customer service has gone downhill not only at just mcdonald's, but most places as this newer generation comes up. But make no mistake about it, the worst I've ever seen is right here at this McDonald's here in inverness. I hope management can do something to try...
