Remember to bring cash here so no 2% of your total bill merchant fee charged when you get your bill. I know this place is newer so giving feedback to help adjust. Texas Roadhouse quality at double the price for the steak. The meat quality was more of a rubbery texture. The smashed potatoes were good, ordered with no sauce! The fish was too crispy a Lil too blackened and the sauce and greens were overly salty and the sauce was too much spice. The dish when I asked was described to me as the sauce was more of a garnish on the plate, which I think would be better, instead it came out so much sauce drenched and overpowered the food. The Caesar salad was really good! Love the hint of lemon dressing with it. Please disclose the total 2% merchant fee add on the menus and not just have this be a surprise on the bill. I asked what this fee was and was told it was for processing cards.

The drinks here were amazing and the service was excellent but I have to say, the food was horrible. In the picture you can see we ordered “crispy Brussels sprouts”. What we received were soggy half-cooked Brussels sprouts. They were inedible. I also ordered the Pastor Tacos. They were at least edible but some of the worst tacos I have had. The meat was a very mushy consistency. I was hoping to at least snack on some fries with the tacos but turns out, even though the menu says they come with fries or salad, they do not. But the drinks were really good. I would come back to this place for drinks alone. Hopefully they fix the kitchen situation.

Great service. Nice facility, clean and welcoming. The food is what’s holding this place back. I had the pretzel bites. The pretzels were basically chunks of pretzel dough with hardly any flavor. The cheese sauce made them even worse. The only redeeming item was the mustard. Then I had the chimichurri tacos, the meat was tender and flavorful, but the tortillas were cheap and store-bought, barely even warm, and there was very little meat in them. Certainly not worth the price for two tacos and some “guacamole“ which tasted like mushed up avocado, and nothing else.

I don’t eat out at nice places very often, so when I do, I really want it to be worth it—and Jaxon Texas Kitchen at the Toyota Music Factory absolutely was. We started with the ceviche, and it was hands-down one of the freshest appetizers I’ve had in a long time. The fish tasted super clean, and the combo of tomato, lime, avocado, and cilantro gave it such a bright, fresh flavor. The Leche de Tigre added a citrusy kick that really brought it all together. I honestly could have eaten a whole bowl of it myself. I also got the Jaxon Greens Salad, and wow—it was way more exciting than your typical salad. The greens were really fresh, and the bleu cheese vinaigrette was rich but not too heavy. I loved the pickled shallots and blistered tomatoes for a little tang and sweetness, but the real standout was the beef tallow croutons—crispy, flavorful, and totally worth mentioning. For the main dish, I had the wood-grilled salmon, and it was cooked perfectly. Crispy on the outside, tender on the inside. It came with bucatini pasta that had a light lemony flavor and these buttery, crunchy breadcrumbs that added just the right amount of texture. There were also fresh pea shoots and caper berries, which gave everything a bright, slightly briny finish. It was a really well-balanced dish—rich, but not too heavy. The staff was friendly and checked in just the right amount without hovering. Everything came out at a good pace, and you could tell they actually care about the food and the experience. Overall, this was such a great night out. The food felt special without being too fussy, and I left feeling full, happy, and like it was totally worth the splurge. If you’re looking for a nice dinner before a show or just want to treat yourself, I definitely recommend giving this...

I went through several emotions here. First, it's the new kid on the block, so expectations were pretty high. The place next door, a barbecue spot... adds mustard to their bbq sandwich. Im not talking about as a binder but its part of the gadamn sandwich. I was hoping this place would contrast ... it didn't.

We were served water almost instantly. However, it tasted bad. I couldn't tell if the glass wasn't cleaned properly or their tap just tastes like that. I took a sip and pushed it aside. I felt like if I drank it all, I'd get sick. A shocking plus is that their drinks are reasonably priced. I was expecting $16 avg per drink but it's $12-14. We were served a drink and it tasted pretty good. After our drink was served, we noticed the bartender get a little busy but then things subdued. There were 3 tables in the dining area waiting to be served. So, I was considerate of that. However, things subdued and the bartender didn't seem enthusiastic about taking our order. We mustve waited 30 mins from the time our drink was served to when we were finally asked "what else can I get you guys?" We both ordered the hamburger and were quite disappointed. It was like a high end middle school patty. First, it had no char to it. It almost felt like it was steamed. It had an odd taste to it which I felt was my fault for ordering it with the onion jam it came with. After 3 more bites, I realized that I was wrong. It wasn't the onions. I took them out and it STILL tasted funny. Im thinking maybe some Ts weren't crossed and some i's not dotted... so, ill return soon to check for improvements. In the meanwhile, ill sure return for...

An Unforgettable Evening with Alex D at Jaxon (Irving Music Factory) Every once in a while, you have a dining experience that perfectly aligns the stars—great food, incredible atmosphere, and flawless service. That was our night at Jaxon Beer Garden in Las Colinas, thanks to our exceptional server, Alex D. From the moment we were seated, Alex provided excellent service, demonstrating genuine attentiveness without being intrusive. He truly elevated an already awesome evening, making sure we had everything we needed to soak up the vibrant atmosphere. The patio weather was perfect, complemented beautifully by the live music coming from the Irving Music Factory plaza. And the food? Simply outstanding. The Fillet was cooked to perfection, but the star of the plate was the red chimichurri sauce. This sauce is, without exaggeration, probably one of the best sauces I've had in town. It was bright, complex, and addictive. Complementing the steak, the honey whipped butter rolls are an absolute must-have. Seriously, order two baskets. They are light, fluffy, and impossible to resist. For those seeking exceptional non-alcoholic options, Jaxon shines here too. They offer fantastic non-alcoholic margaritas crafted with Lyra Blanco virgin tequila, proving that great cocktails don't always need alcohol. If you are looking for an amazing night out with fantastic food and top-tier service, ask for Alex D at Jaxon. You...
